While any literary work is open for many interpretations, what I think about Magical Machine tho is that this song is simply all about her and her songs in her albums. Knowing that she's a Christian artist, it's easy to assume that all of her songs have Gospels in them but in truth, it's not always the case (as in Something in the Water where Brooke said it herself that it's just a feel-good song about playing with water and has no intended message on Christianity). Going back to the meaning of this song, it's simply a metaphor. Brooke is basically saying that she is our magical machine for thru the lyrics of her songs, our eyes are opened to the many truths (about social and moral issues and Christianity among others) that we haven't noticed or tend to ignore. Her melodies take us to "different worlds" as if by magic. The interpretation that purports this as simply a metaphor is evident in the lines like "I'm your MP3, I get sad when you don't pay for me". The bridge: "I'm wires and welding, preset to Auto but if I wasn't you would never know" is prolly all about how her real voice doesn't sound any different from her autotuned voice.

Christians that are overly religious, yes. Brooke herself is Christian and Brutal Romantic does point back to Christ but just indirectly. Her lyrics aren't blasphemy, they have a good meaning and people have felt His presence through these songs from that album so what are we moaning about here? And her songs have always been about Him indirectly so they really should stop.
