to my understanding (not a lot), because the gear ratio’s allow it, thats why a 6th gear can be added to the element’s transmission. can the same be done in a awd crv transmission? big picture is a rsx awd conversion w crv trans/diff and this added 6th gear i want to add to my list. anything helps!!

Are there any updates for the automatic version? Have an 06 of that matters.
The 06 auto has a 5 speed which was the first year they offered that upgrade. So you have the best version of auto out there nice job 👍

If would take a lot of work because your element is an auto. Better to sell your element and rebuy a manual one

Its a turd gear. I did it. It's nice to keep RPM's down, but you def have to downshift to tackle any hills, even just long inclines.

Yeah I haven’t really done any long drives just yet but I made it to lax & back with 20 mpg with all my gear up top pretty happy about it
