A much better method is fighting Zeoth Serprond in Temperantia. They’re level 60-62, drop gold chips (will get you to the end of the story easily) and give around 11k experience per kill if using a decent chain combo.

I'm at level 57 and the pippitos in temperantia are giving 2k experience and it takes around 10 seconds to kill them depending on his level

As soon as you land at varnax plunge, go left and go across the water toward the large tunnel... you will see the spiders there. Good luck!

Why did you chain attack near death?
The sooner you start overkill in the chain attack, the higher the XP bonus you get is
^that, Overkill% multiplies the XP for the Overkill amount like 3000XP*250=7500XP
Dude don't do chain attacks use pyras third form to destroy them without wasting the party gauge
I'm pretty sure this is done specifically for the boost of exp.

Doesn't matter. Using pyra's third stage in a chain attack gives a HUGE bonus. Still should be using her.
