Have you seen to use isopropyl alcohol for an accelerator? I tried it and it works well on wood, but haven't tried it on metal as gluing a metal emblem to a lighter or other metal plate.
unfortunately the plastic container which holds the Starbond is not so great. i've had mine for 2 years exactly, using on small applications. but found it had leaked out the bottom on its own, ruining shelving and cabinets below. wish they had used glass.

Would freezing the glue extend it's shelf life even further, or harm it??

Why would a 8 ounce plastic jar of CA crack ? I had it in cool environment and it leaked after splitting.
Do you have to warm the glue to room temperature to use it after refrigerated storage?
