Beautiful work. Thanks Ian. If I understood correctly, your polarizing filter sometimes provides enough of a slower shutter speed so that is all you use. Correct?
Yes, absolutely, the polarizer will reduce the exposure by 1 stop approx, sometimes this is enough to add in a little movement, all depends on the conditions though. 👍
Hi Ian, just found your channel, really like how you explain the steps you take in each shot..I am thinking of getting the Formatt-Hitech filter system. Can't believe you get the water to slow down as much as you do with such short shutter speeds !!
What a relaxing video! Did you focus about a third of the way in on the last image as well Ian? No worries if you can’t remember, you have slept since you took it 😋
Beautiful up there Ian & wonderful shots.. Fairbrook really is a great place with all the cascades on the way up & have you visited the hidden little waterfall further up, I got a good one of that from a while back. Great stuff & advice as always mate tfs. Andy.
Have you done a video on blending 2 such exposures where you are having to take account of leaves, branch or grass movement. Must admit I am a complete novice when it comes to photo editing.
I have a which came first, the chicken or the egg question. The CPL first, then the ND, or vice versa. I have read CPL first(closest to the lens) but it looks like you had it on top of the ND. Thanks
Hi Mike, usually I go for the cpl then nd but I'm not sure it matters that much. Lee filters have had the polarizer on the outside for years on their modular system. 😀👍👍
Excellent video Ian, and two wonderful images on the day, thank you 😊😎
Glad you enjoyed it Alfie 👍👍
Hi,Ian thank for a very informative video. Two nice shots on my favourite subject to photograph.

Another great video and lovely images. Thanks Ian.
Glad you enjoyed it Rodger 😀😀🙏

it all depends how fast the water is flowing, the quicker the water, the more motion in the photo, thanks for watching buddy 👍👍
@@ian_worth Thanks Ian...That makes sense!!!
Thanks for sharing this and for being so inspiring! Very nice photos and beautiful location.
Glad you enjoyed it buddy 🙏😀
Great video, do you have a video explaining your filter system? Would really like to learn more about that system
Thanks Steve, i sure do, here's the link ruclips.net/video/wljlcGIyz-Q/видео.html

Glad you think so Mike 🙏👍
Ian, great work? I love the pastel colors of the Fuji, plus your composition well done?
Thank you so much 😀
Good stuff. Keep up the high-quality content, Ian.
Much appreciated! 👍👍
Nice work and tips on long exposure Ian. Have you found any color shift with your Kase filters. ? I have them and I do see some with longer exposers.
Hi Max, i did a review about the filters you can view it here - ruclips.net/video/wljlcGIyz-Q/видео.html
Nice shots Ian. I’m a new subscriber. How do you like the Fuji as a landscape camera? Mike.
Thanks for the sub Mike! Yeah I think it suits my photography and I've always enjoyed using them 👍👍
Love your videos. Thanks.
Glad you like them! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I do like the compositions although I would prefer a faster speed for the water.
Thanks buddy, i like faster shutter speeds too, just about finding what works for the composition and subject 👍😀🙏
Great shots there mate!
Glad you enjoyed it 🙏🙏👍
