If you’d been there before it changed to away resorts there was Portland pizza, hog roast and breakfast van outlets there which were excellent on food and price.
So we now use Wetherspoons in town or buy stuff in

We were at East Fleet last June as well. We have been before, but it had recently been taken over by Away Resorts and wasn't as good. Agree with you about the food - in previous years when it was privately owned there used to be mobile food vans (fish and chips, pizza, a breakfast van) as well as the food in the bar and we found it much better. Nice site though. Glad I found your RUclips channel because it is nice to listen to your humourous banter and reviews of different sites.

I used to go there twice a week to empty the bins, had some interesting times going down the access road and meeting caravans coming the other way, definitely not built for 26t wagons!

Sorry I forgot to say the access road is a bit narrow in places! But ROB you missed a great opportunity of scaring the c--p out of that guy walking with the straw hat in front of you!!! Creep up behind him and BLOW your Horn and see how high he jumps! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Glad you liked the shop! We have a 10 pole Windbreak had many years and goes from one end of our van to the other almost very private! If you want good Fish and Chips go to Bennets in Weymouth the other side of the Quay via the Bridge! You can sit on sea wall or inside or at the tables outside! Park in the Pavillion Car Park for free after 6pm. Special Motorhome places there, not too far to walk. The Campsite was Empty usually much busier than that! Chesil Beach is the big Shingle mound protecting the Fleet from the sea! Not an easy walk to the top! Try and go to Portland Heights on way to the 'Bill' fantastic view up there to Lyme Regis and beyond! Car Park up there and a £10 a night for Campers and get an Ice cream there mmmmm! We will be in the area in couple weeks so we are jealous!! 😀😀 Enjoy! Forgot to say IF you should go to the Nothe Fort Gardens, park at the Pavillion and get little ferry across, apparently in the long grass there's Adders so keep the dogs close as one got bitten on the nose few days ago and Past away 😭😭

The shop was great, well stocked and pretty ready for a site shop.
Unfortunately we’ve left now but hopefully revisit the area again soon. So much to explore.

We got a fancy windbreak but it’s like the krypton factor erecting it so we stick to the lovely colour windbreaker too 😂💕💕
It really was a great site, once you were on it.
The food was really bad, like I said I’ve never complained before but really felt that everyone is just being ripped off.
Bloody horrible windbreaks so bloody tacky 🙈🙈🙈🙈 didn’t even stay up in the wind 🤣🤣🤣xxxx

We do have an ice machine, but to be honest the drinks don’t get warm as they aren’t there long enough too 🤣🤣

Dad had one of those windbreaks, I think way back he had one in brown & beige before the blue one. I remember it got more comfortable when he put it up.xx

Went to East Fleet a few years ago with a 7 m caravan which made it harder when Meeting other vehicles very tight .But enjoyed the walks and the facilities maybe try again MH .Enjoy😊
Hi and yes the approach is rather tight, but doable, it’s a lovely site definitely worth another try 😊😊
Have been to East Fleet about 5 times before it became an Affiliated site and they used to do deals like 5 for 7 nights but not any more. You could order takeaway to be delivered to the pub and they would supply you with a plate and cutlery. There was also vans serving breakfasts, crepes, pizza and fish and chips. The pub never used to serve food, what a rip off. The site is great though, on the estuary and not too far from Weymouth. Happy holidays 👍
Hi yes how times have changed it’s all about sites making as much money as possible out of there customers unfortunately 👍 it’s still a well kept site and we did enjoy our stay 👍
When we stayed there before covid and they had about four take away vans selling various foods which at the time was better value than the restaurant .

Narrow roads 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ we are in Cornwall high hedges steep hills and the narrow roads the sites are worth it when you arrive stunning area dump the windbreak it’s rubbish that crackle noise would drive me mad and yes Lynn you did right to complain we pay hard earned cash so hate getting ripped off 2 ice cream 2 scoops in a tub £11 in Dartmouth I told him lick it slowly 😊

Great vlog as usual. We went to Eastfleet a couple of years ago before it changed hands. They didn’t cook food in the pub then but you could order from the local takeaways and the pub supplied the plates and cutlery. Also takeaway vans on premises. Look forward to the next vlog xx

We used to love Eastfleet until it changed hands. They used to have food vans that would serve you food on an evening and even at breakfast. You could also order a take away and eat it in the bar with plates and cutlery given to you by the staff. There was also a large field where the dogs would run around and have fun but that’s gone now. It is however a lovely location and nice site. We agree the food is not worth £20 😊
