Alex Andria: isn’t this the truth sadly I never had someone tell me this and wish someone would have because then maybe I would have gotten out of the toxic, abusive relationship that I was in for 2.5 years. My ex was physically, mentally and emotionally abusive and had my death planned and he almost succeeded sadly but I got out and I’m alive and for that I’m thankful. The police had actually confiscated all of his firearms because I had called over 45 times. Once I left, he found my new address. I was numerous states away. He then sent me threatening texts that he had a new gun and was coming to me. We MADE it out girly!! I learned this the hard way. I am still learning this. I tend to be too empathic and forgiving. Which does just circle back to my own self worth issues. I need to learn how to layout clear boundaries and stick to them. It’s hard to let go of people you love and people’s potential. But it must be done. I hear it gets easier over time especially if love yourself enough to say goodbye. We can be empathic and love them from a distance. Not abusive people though. Leopards, typically, do not change their spots.

I too had a f*cked up childhood and had no idea how to love or care for myself or others. You can overcome it, but venting your innermost demons to strangers on RUclips isn’t the way.
Also, having been happily married for 15 years now, marriage isn’t something to take lightly or to enter into for views, attention, etc. Having an open relationship works for very few people, and definitely not for emotionally abused and stunted people like Jake Paul. I feel sorry for him, but you can’t save someone when you’re drowning yourself.
Be single, get therapy and don’t enter into any romantic relationships until you’re in a place where you value yourself. Until you do, you will keep replaying your childhood traumas and worse, compounding them with new traumas. I hate to see young women settling for scraps and putting up with shitty men. I did it and wish I had someone to set me straight at the time. All the best to you. Don’t let your past define you.
