George used to be one of my favorite character from the 1962 series but I'm a little sad when the actor (George O' Hanlon) died of a heart attack during a script of Universal's 1990 film (Jetsons: the Movie).
Actually all of them did but two during the film. George and Mel Blanc who was Spacely. Daws Butler who was Elroy passed away before production began of the film, with Penny, Don, Janet, and Jean passed away years after the film was released.
@@joseleon5897 And The Jetsons won't have another season until 1985, when the family of the future joined The Funtastic World Of Hanna-Barbera's season 1 lineup including The Challenge Of The GoBots, The Paw Paws, Yogi's Treasure Hunt, and Galtar And The Golden Lance.
Note: The Jetsons Complete TV series is now digitally restored and remastered with original Screen Gems (now Sony Pictures Television) end credits at the end and had the original sponsorship bumpers since from the original TV series. All rights reserved to Turner Entertainment Co. and Warner Bros. Entertainment.
On top of that, wouldn’t the original “AN ABC TELEVISION PRESENTATION” notice would’ve followed after the Hanna-Barbers Screen Gems and Color By Pathè credits? I remember seeing an original copy from a 1962 episode where the ABC Presentation notice was at the end on the same background from the start of the intro credits.
So glad they have different end credits. The DVD release has the same end credits for all episodes. It really bugged me, especially when Jean Vanderpyle was never in the credits. The picture looks great too. If only it were available in Australia.
That's what I would like to see. The original end credits even with the words A Screen Gems film presentation included. I hope they can release Top Cat on Blu-ray with the original end credits.
In between 1963 and the revival in 1985 when they weren't active, didn't The Jetsons appear in a series of on-screen PSAs with the voice actors reprising their roles? (O'Hanlon, Singleton, Waldo, Butler and Messick)
I can see Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards voicing Jane Jetson in the ‘currently in development’ The Jetsons Movie for Warner Animation Group, let alone Warner Bros.

@MihaiChetreanu17 because the original recreated Screen Gems/Hanna-Barbera titles for the Jetsons are restored in HD.
