Dear Shirley, I have had a crush on you since first hearing your song in 1961, "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow". I was 12 years old then and had been playing drums for 3 years. I am 71 now, still playing drums, and still have that crush. Thank you "The Shirelles" for all your music, I will love you forever.

When I heard, I Met HimOn A Sunday my cousin and I started following The Shirelles and performing their songs at parties. Today we still follow them though we're not able to attend shows the way we did in the 60's at the Regal Theater in Chicago. I am happy to watch their videos on RUclips though. I sang A Thing of The Past at the nursing home where I reside and they loved it. My youngest daughter was named after them (Shyrell) and her daughter known as LaLa Elaine on RUclips is now pursuing my dream as a performer. I'm one proud gamma.

Maybe Jerry Maybe, but at least I've got a sense of humor!!! Lighten up man, it's only a joke, we all know they wore wigs in the 60's, and that doesn't take away how unique & brilliant they were. I've been and always will be, a fan from 1960 until now, & have 99% of their recordings. I was also pleased that they got honored and the recognition the deserved, into the Hall Of Fame.
