I totally get the colours and matching wood stuff. It can be a sensory overload for a senitive person. In a tiny space you are constantly foreced to downsize. You search for calm and harmony in your space, nothing wrong with that. And trust me, you are not a narcissist, I know how one ‘looks’ like, you’re not it. Enjoy your lovely space and life.
Some people will never understand. If you're away from your country of origin you really got to set your apartment in a way that it still feels like you never left home. :) It's like your safe haven - your comfort zone. I understand Sissel's part for being particular with everything because nothing is more important than peace of mind. :) Keep on being creative, girl! 💖
You can actually put the laundry soap in with the clothes. I do it all the time. You don’t have to use the little drawer that makes you move your ladder-shelf.
Hey Sissel, I had a similar problem with my washing machine (the tiny drawer for the powder broke). A machine specialist told me that you can put the washing powder or liquid directly into your machine instead of the little drawer. It works the same way and does not damage your clothing. Maybe this would make life a bit easier for you as well.
I've noticed that surrounding has a big impact on your emotions and your good feeling I have the same thing, so everything needs to be on its place, otherwise I go crazy. So here is the trick, I store all my things that are on open shelves or on the bookstand in the boxes. I've noticed that many people do it differently they put stuff into boxes to store it in the closet, which makes no sense to me. Love your video, keep going 😍

Potentially really long post ahead: I would say one of the most important parts is to definitely focus a lot on studying Korean. There are a lot of scholarships once you get to the TOPIK level 5(?) I think for foreign students. If you need resources for studying I recommend talk to me in korean and howtostudykorean(.)com Also definitely look into the Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP)! Whatever you do, make sure to really research what it is like to live in S. Korea and not overly fantasize it, simply because it is real place just like everywhere else in the world and with that comes the ups and downs. I met a lot of people when I studied abroad there who wanted to go to Seoul so badly but once they got there realized it wasn't this fantasy that they had imagined and I saw one person who quit the program and went home a week later. I personally adored living in Seoul and am planning on moving back to teach to save money for grad school after I graduate in December because my brother lives there and I know I enjoyed my time there and am up for a challenge. Other than that, there are a ton of great schools there and where you want to apply will vary a lot on what you want to study and the environment you are looking for. I know there is one youtuber who studied at Ewha Woman's University for all of her Undergrad. I studied abroad there and it was such a nice campus and place to study. Be sure to keep your grades up as best you can (I mean... pretty standard for all college advice) but the better your grades, the better the scholarship opportunities. From what I remember, if you don't get scholarships you have to prove that you have a certain amount of money in your bank account to sustain you for the time you are going to be there (or something like that), so just a thing to keep in mind. Because you are a high school freshman, you have plenty of time to figure all of it out so don't stress yourself out too much over it all. For now focus on studying Korean, doing well in school, living life, and slowly start to look up a list of schools in Seoul or wherever in S. Korea you want to live. Over time narrow it down and start to look into your financial situation for undergrad. Good luck!
If you put your mattress on a simple frame or risers, you can store those suitcases underneath and have much more closet space. Although I'm sure your friends appreciate the gifts.

I have a similar washing machine and I don't even use that little drawer, cause either I use capsules for washing which goes straight into the drum or I use liquid detergent which also goes straight into the drum on the laundry :)
Can you make a some storage space underneath your mattresses? You can place the things that you don't use, like suitcases and other out of season things and free up some space in the closet. Also, perhaps you can do a curtain that separates the bed from the makeup area. I really love your style and how you feel about the organization. I feel the same way about everything you mentioned.

Hi! Quick suggestion... stack your short dressers on top of each other to free up some more closet space. Also, consider storing stuff (like off season clothes or the huge supply of toilet paper) in your suitcases. I hope this helps you store more items out of eyesight and relax your mind!
One suggestion: if you stack the two small dressers (the one in closet and the jewelry stand one) you can free up lots of closet space and the top should still be visible.

TIP: Liquid laundry detergent can be put in the washing machine with the clothes ! If you have a little plastic bowl you can put it in together! that way you dont have to detach it every time. I always do it :)

Daiso saves all of the people living alone in Korea. One thing I really love about Korea is that many people live in tiny apartments so it is relatively easy to find storage solutions.

Cant you figure out some nice dividers for in there. Like something to stack the bottels on top eachother, like a small wine rack. And the freezerpart could use another level, cause there is almost nothing in the top part? Just suggestions..

You can just put liquid detergent or detergent pods straight into the washer drum instead of in that little drawer. It's all the same if you don't use softener and or powder detergent.
Just a recommendation you should look into getting that ikea bed with storage that lifts the mattress up you could store your luggage and other stuff underneath it

Hi, just random got on you vid and decided to watch it. Looks good on how you decorate your apartment. Just a curious question regarding your curtain that you wanna hide your powercables. While there may be a very small chance to it, but I do recommend to make it shorter due to possible fire hazard when there might be some sparks from the electric outlet. Having the curtain directly pass over them can be a risk. I recommend to cut is shorter, use a extented outlet cable and that way hide the cables by redirecting somewhere else. Just a thought tho, better be safe than sorrow right? :-) any way I've enjoyed the vid, keep it up.

Yeah I use a little cup thing that measures the detergent and you just place it on top of the clothes in the washer and done!

Just a tip: don't put your diffuser where you store textiles. Things get mouldy pretty quickly when you do that, ventilation holes or not.

You can just put liquid detergent or detergent pods straight into the washer drum instead of in that little drawer. It's all the same if you don't use softener and or powder detergent.

Just a recommendation you should look into getting that ikea bed with storage that lifts the mattress up you could store your luggage and other stuff underneath it
I thought about that but a lifted bed would make the space look smaller and since I’m moving out anyways next year it’s not worth the money I think :(

Hi, just random got on you vid and decided to watch it. Looks good on how you decorate your apartment. Just a curious question regarding your curtain that you wanna hide your powercables. While there may be a very small chance to it, but I do recommend to make it shorter due to possible fire hazard when there might be some sparks from the electric outlet. Having the curtain directly pass over them can be a risk. I recommend to cut is shorter, use a extented outlet cable and that way hide the cables by redirecting somewhere else. Just a thought tho, better be safe than sorrow right? :-) any way I've enjoyed the vid, keep it up.
