I didn't realize Falling in Reverse was on Epitaph Records, My all-time favorite band Bad Religion has been with them since 1981, and still going. They carry a bunch of older punk bands like Rancid, Offspring, Op Ivy, Pennywise, etc that I grew up with. This Ronald video is so awesome, i've been watching a bunch of reactors check it out today. How did you get heavier than recent from the fact that Tech9 is in it??? It is throughout their heaviest to date. Some older songs have had parts, pre chorus aso, with growling. Alex Terrible is also on this track so he does the lowest growls.
I think I just got over excited, I just had a feeling it would be a heavier song…and unlike watch the world burn that had more of a build up this just went full force heavy from the start. Ronnie does growls, but not I don’t remember hearing them in such a full and lower register, in previous songs
Sry, comment 2. Can you please talk about, especially, some audio production after songs? There are a lot of, imo, overproduced vocals in modern metal today. Forinstance Sleep Token irritates the H... out of me with all the effects.
I will be doing a deep dive on this in particular. Over all, I try to talk about the mix and layering, but there was so much here that I would want to have multiple listens before getting into the audio production details. I will say I actually thoroughly enjoy the many layers and production that some bands bring to the vocal tracks. It can absolutely be over done, but there truly is a lot of creativity and intelligence at the table, when it is done right. Also thank you for the comments, they are well thought out and good questions!
