Nini Koch but an oscar isnt won because you did a good job for it being your first movie or first big movie, rather for doing a great job regardless of your background in acting
JorgeAlberto Herrera you know what movie got oscar nominated? Steve Jobs. That movie bombed in theater and still made it to the oscars. This was a good movie, im not even a huge nwa fan but as a biopic it did a great job at showing the classic story of how a young music group can be manipulated by the industry and leeches and how good friends can turn on each other due to fear and confusion and trusting the wrong people. This was an Oscar worthy film.
We really need to stop calling cops pigs. Why? Because pigs are actually smart animals and it does them a disservice. Pigs are one of the only farm animals you can actually house train. Cops are generally too busy beating their wife to be considered smart.
Yeah no rap isn't music it's a poem with with a basic beat in the background. Just because people pay for something doesn't mean it's good. People pay for dirty underwear if a specific person wears it
I've always wondered what the cops that actually did this to them thought when they saw this moment portrayed on the big screen. What went through there mind..... Pride? Shame? Anger? Just wondered how it made them feel to showcase their disgusting behavior on full display for the world to see.
@@davidchrist428 Maybe, maybe not. The thing is, this movie was made from Dre and Ice Cube's perspective and you can clearly tell neither one of them thought highly of Jerry Heller. I think it would be quite strange for a movie that spends a good chunk of its runtime blaming Jerry Heller for the breakup of NWA, to include a scene that puts him in such a positive light unless something similar did happen in real life.
The true Story is a little Bit different. The nwa Kids playing Gangster with a Paint ball gun and Shot on a Police car. And the police gave them a lesson.
Brandon Manley I tried to enjoy new rap but it's all the same nowadays. I wish rap could go back to the way it was but those days are gone. metal is superior anyway
As a metalhead, I acknowledge rap as a form of art. It may not be for me, but it has every right to exist like every other art form and should not be looked down upon simply because it doesn't appeal to your tastes and sensitivities, or because it's associated with gangstas and thugs. It's a form of expressing oneself like any other, and the least you can do is respect it.
@@vennuv5626 My first exposure to metal was the Megadeth song "Back in the Day". Unlike most of my peers who listened to rap, pop, or some other genre I can't name, I listened to rock, punk, and grunge from various bands - the most prominent being: Three Days Grace, Skillet, Linkin Park, Nickelback, Breaking Benjamin, Disturbed, Thousand Foot Krutch, Papa Roach, Atreyu, Sum 41, and Thirty Seconds to Mars. As the years went on I became a fan of the classics, such as: Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Helloween, Queen, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, KISS, Pink Floyd, Van Halen, Guns n' Roses, etc. There's also Nitghtwish, Within Temptation, Dragonforce, Powerwolf, Sabaton, Alice in Chains, Ghost, Sonata Arctica, Motley Crue, and many more.

And you’re trying with all your might to not lash out along with someone else trying to talk to off the ledge if you’re not alone.

Make money on cops 😂😂 stupid rappers they just say money bad things about girl kill someone yeee they are angel and dont forget they also harrasment public things
Royal Klowns what does them making more money have to do with rap being an art
@@gamerepic4760 for one. Music is an art and in the context of the video since it was a more thug like thing back then so they didn't respect it at all and were ignorant to the fact that it was important. The comment about them making more is to show that the cops are looking down on them and acting like they are nothing when rappers make more than they do. One of these things take a certain level of skill to develop over ling periods of time while the other only takes 6 months for the permission to kill people.
My respect for Jerry Heller went up after this. It made his betrayal all the more HEARTBREAKING

Paul Giamatti is a tragically underrated actor.

Paul giamatti kills it in this scene. There were a lot of oscar worthy moments and actors in this movie.
+Edison Hernandez lol, not even, just average acting...
the movie should have one an Oscar as well as some of the Actors. you have to remember for Most of them is it the first big one if not even the first movie ever.
Nini Koch but an oscar isnt won because you did a good job for it being your first movie or first big movie, rather for doing a great job regardless of your background in acting
+JorgeAlberto Herrera Clearly, you haven't seen the Oscar's in a long time.
Cop: Rap isn't art!
NWA: *looks at record sales, top spots in billboards* Uh huh, whatever you say, piggy.
We really need to stop calling cops pigs. Why? Because pigs are actually smart animals and it does them a disservice. Pigs are one of the only farm animals you can actually house train. Cops are generally too busy beating their wife to be considered smart.
I thoroughly dislike rap music and barely consider it artistic. That being said, I realize the talent and skill put into it, I just don’t like it.
William Barrantes Just because you don’t like rap music doesn’t mean rap isn’t art. I don’t like country and classical music but it is still art.
Yeah no rap isn't music it's a poem with with a basic beat in the background. Just because people pay for something doesn't mean it's good. People pay for dirty underwear if a specific person wears it
@@jonathangarzon2798 Too bad you don't get to decide what is considered music and what isn't.

Big Bleach but it’s based on real life unbelievable
But things could’ve been exaggerated
He meant that the jew was their master by slaving them to the industry
I've always wondered what the cops that actually did this to them thought when they saw this moment portrayed on the big screen. What went through there mind..... Pride? Shame? Anger? Just wondered how it made them feel to showcase their disgusting behavior on full display for the world to see.
This never happened in real life, it was put in for the cinema affect. Not saying they were not harassed, however this scene is pure fiction...
@@davidchrist428 If they were harassed its because they were documented gang members. The gang unit tends to do this to known gang members

As a metalhead, I acknowledge rap as a form of art. It may not be for me, but it has every right to exist like every other art form and should not be looked down upon simply because it doesn't appeal to your tastes and sensitivities, or because it's associated with gangstas and thugs. It's a form of expressing oneself like any other, and the least you can do is respect it.
i agree 110%
What kind of metal you like
@@vennuv5626 My first exposure to metal was the Megadeth song "Back in the Day".
