Well flown and I think you did the right thing when doubt entered your mind. You’re the pilot 👍

James Clarke thanks for the comment. Yes, looking back now, I think it was the best option to request an orbit overhead the field. Maybe I could have been clearer on the radio the first time I mentioned my concern and that I wanted ATC to give me permission to deviate from the original instruction.

Flying with Chris thanks! Yes what was meant to be a quick and easy 15 min flight ended up being quite hard work.

Great video Joe! I’ve never flown in a Cessna how does it compare to a PA28? Nice landing too considering 20knot breeze. Love the music btw. 👍🏻👌🏼

Private Pilot Vlogs thanks Adam! I did most of my training and passed my skills test in a Cessna 172 and absolutely love them. I then converted to the PA28 and Robins initially so aircraft availability would be better. The C152 is a bit compact for my liking but the main difference is the better view when navigating due to the high wing but have found that the wind can get under the high wing more on landing which gives a feeling that it isn’t quite as stable as the PA28. Just my opinion though.

PPL Video Diary my instructor told me I was too big for a 152 so went straight to a Pa28 to take from heavy ass! 😂
