Pal you did just what you were supposed to do, show us DIY'ers just how to patiently do work on our cars. Keep up the good work and your patience is something to cherish, i would have said a few unmention a bulls lol . Tom of cape coral fl. Got a caddy escalade Hybrid that i am doing the dame thing and thanks again for the blow by blow on how to do it. Much appreciated.
good job and thanks for the video! I also struggled with the gas line disconnect but it came off really easy by sliding the tool up and then pulling the braded side really hard towards the tool and push them together. it popped right off. take care.
Hi there sir how are you doing hope you doin good my name is eddi I have a Cadillac Escalade 6.2 and had lots of issues but took. A risk since I have watch these videos of yours men is very easy explanation my car runs Better than 8 month ago thank you again god bless u
On this vehicle, there is a fuel filter built into the fuel pump assembly but there is not one anywhere in-line underneath the vehicle. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching and for the comment!
@@davntelisha19 that's a good point. Clean a bit and replace the gaskets while there. Definitely a great idea if you're already going to do this job. 👍☺️
Joe, you may be right. Cleaning these with that little adapter wasn't great. It wasn't that terrible, but it also wasn't great. They do make and sell a machine that would have probably been a bit easier to use. If I did this type of job on a regular basis, I would definitely look into buying one. I was originally looking at buying this one: amzn.to/3yRqdrD but then decided it would just make more sense for me to do it the cheaper way this time. Thanks for watching!!
True, but are they knock offs and/or cheaply made injectors? I honestly don't know. I can tell you this, after I did this cleaning, it didn't fix my issue. So I did buy some cheap "AC Delco" ones on Ebay and installed them. My lean condition still remained. So I then went and fixed some vacuum leaks. My lean condition still remained. After I was confident that all of the vacuum leaks were fixed, I went ahead and reinstalled the original AC Delco injectors that I cleaned in this video and sure enough, my issue was finally resolved!! So I'm not saying don't go with the Ebay ones, but for me, they definitely kept my Yukon running lean. I've driven it a few hundred miles since got it running right, and I've have no issues. Thanks for the comment though and thanks for watching! :)
All that trouble just to clean. replace o rings.......just jut new in and call it a day......to clean them in vehicle just use Marvel mystery oil in the gas. Also different color o rings already....those have been in there and messed with before.....I'm not taking the risk....just get new injectors
Thank you, this is very useful for anyone who wants to clean the injector himself

Alright ! I'm having misfire on number 8 , plus to lean code which points to a fuel injector .
Might be a bad ignition coil too. Did you test that? How did your repair go?
Just have one ? Is there a fuel filter on the 07 gmc yukon denali, and here is it

Its almost like it would be better to take the hole intake out with fuel rail all together
Maybe. Why do you think it would be "better"? Thanks for the comment. Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Got to be a better way to clean the injectors

Ebay ! $70.00 and you get 8 brand new fuel injectors !
