I am completely changed and I am now a adult working at summer camp this year and happy New year's to you to this is Jenna Dabao had fun day
You know, fear of these giant crowds and mass chaos often keeps me from experiencing these kinds of adventures myself. I’m glad I’ve got you to show me what it’s like from the safety of my comfy, quiet living room.
it's a nightmare, especially because i know how useless the security are (i used to be one of them) and it rains constantly in Scotland so no matter where you go you're gonna get people trying to take an eye out with an umbrella! much rather stay home and watch it on TV. we were gonna go to it this year cos i've never been as a guest, just as security and despite living in Scotland, it was sold out when we tried to getting to get tickets. glad i never went looking at that lot
Jackie, I want to thank you and Sam for taking me and everybody else along on your trip. This is the only way I will be able to see this area of the world by watching your videos. Thank you so much for sharing. By the way, you are a great narrator. I'm glad you both had a great time and had a safe trip. I'm so excited to see what you have in store for 2023. I'm sure whatever you do it will be marvelous.❤
That street party looks like it could have been a good time but my claustrophobia acted up just watching you guys try to navigate that mess. I think in our teens and 20s our tolerance is way higher and then we pass 30 and it goes severely down. Wild how you guys left and randomly ended up in the perfect spot. Happy New Years!
Apparently it had been snowing there a few weeks prior so we were lucky to have missed that, although we didn't miss... the mist... lol! the constant cold rainy mist the entire night!!
Jackie and Sam, you two are precious. Thank you so much for taking me on your journey overseas. It's been quite awhile that I was in London 2004, so I loved seeing it in one of your other vids. You give me the travel itch bug! Happy 2023 to you both!
Happy New Year! Thank you for sharing your visit to Edinburgh. We were just there enjoying the Christmas Market. Glad you figured out how to enjoy the night with less crowds! Scotland is our second home so I was thrilled to see you there and taking it all it.
Loved every moment of this a true travel video that feels so “in the moment” that had us running the gamut of emotions! The Windsor Castle portion was beautifully done and a perfect cap off to your trip. Always support to our #1 vlogger lady!
That looks like an absolutely SPECTACULAR way to spend New Year's! Even though plans didn't go 100% as planned, still GREAT! Happy new year Jackie and Sam! 🇺🇸 🏴
Happy 2023! Oh my goodness the crowds you had to endure. Glad you guys ended up in the perfects spot. Thanks as always for taking us along on your adventures!
I live in Edinburgh and this is my nightmare, the cold, the rain, the massive crowds pushing and shoving and the rain that day was bad. I noticed the fireworks this year were extra loud. You could only enjoy this if you were drunk but seeing as I don't drink, it's a no from me! The system seems crazy and unorganised! Love the bands though. Windsor castle looked amazing. I stood in line for 5 hours to see the Queens vigil in st giles cathedral when she died, it's so special that you have visited her resting place. A few of my favourite castles are Stirling castle, Linlithgow palace and craigmillar castle which is a ruin but is fabulus. Love your guys sense of fun and how your videos are real and organic. All the best and many blessing to you in 2023!!
This was a lovely and hectic way of bringing in the new year. Happy 2023 to you. Hope that you are getting well rested. It was nice to see the changing of the guard and to hear the history there.
I am Scottish but have never been to Edinburgh at hogmanay as I have heard that it's absolutely bursting full of people. Plus standing around for hours in our weather puts me off as well. Different areas of Scotland do other stuff as well due to the celts and viking ancestors. Lots of areas have fire 🔥 evolved in the celebrations. They have done fire lit 🔥 torches in Edinburgh as well where you walk up to carlton Hill. Unfortunately as I am a nurse I have worked tons of night shifts, but if it's quiet at midnight you can go to our dayroom and watch all the fireworks go off all around the Glasgow and Partick area's. They are fantastic to see, if you get a chance to sit for a minute and watch. Mind you I have also had times, I'm busy with patients. One memorable occasions I was cleaning up vomit from the patient at midnight. Plus the floor, but it's swings and roundabouts in nursing what you could be doing. Lovely to see that you found a quiet area eventually to see the fireworks 🎆.
I really wanted to see the torch procession, that’s what I was most excited for, but they canceled it. I’d love to see other areas of Scotland and different traditions too!
@@SuperEnthused my friends have family in Comrie that is near Perth in Scotland. They have fire torches some nearly 10 foot. There is fancy dress competitions, music etc. At the end the torches get thrown into the river Earn. In Stonehaven in Aberdeenshire they have the Stonehaven fireball procession where they swing fireballs overhead following a piper. In Orkney its the 1st of January in Kirkwall that have the men fighting over a leather medicine ball, it's supposed to be quite rough. In Shetland in Lerwick they have the viking festival called Up Helly Aa, there are different characters chosen from the norse sagas . Lots of viking dress , more fire and they burn a viking galley at the end. I really want to see that one.
Some of the best memories are the ones when things don’t go as planned!! You both definitely made the best of the situation and those fireworks were amazing! Again, Happy New Year!
You two finding the joy in everything ❤ so uplifting and inspiring! Really glad you found some space to dance and enjoy the fireworks in the end! Prosecco in bed will always be my preferred way to spend NYE though 😆
Good morning happy Monday morning and happy new year to you and your loved ones and I hope that 2023 brings you a lot of love and happiness I enjoy your channel because you are amazing Supporter
Our NYE ringing in 2022 was at home and was the best and coziest NYE I’ve ever had!!! From now on, we stay HOME for NYE lol!! But hey, it’s all an adventure 😂
I finally got a chance to catch up on your videos ( I was also traveling but not international) what a great time and different activities and food you experienced. So glad you Sam had a great trip! Thank you!
Jackie, I loved this video. Not the parts of the massive crowds but everything else. I’m so jealous you got to visit Windsor Castle. Being a Royal watcher I have always wanted to go there. ❤
It’s remotely possible that they may have oversold this event 😂 Ahh, sorry that plan A did not work out, guys! We have always appreciated that you are both positive people who try to make the best of whatever situation you’re in, but it’s also totally OK to cut your losses and find something new to be excited about if you’re really not having fun. If nothing else, you learned lessons and know what not to do if you ever brave this event again. Plus, as you said, at least you are together and have each other to start the New Year - that is what is most important! ☺️ Glad you were able to find some fun in all that chaos. Happy New Years’ to you both! ✨
So, Jackie! Enjoy a winter New Years Eve?!! I remember freezing myself frostbit in Times Square a few times, and I Am quite glad to have spent my last thirty plus New Years in San Diego, thank you very much!
Beautiful footage of Windsor Castle. That new yrs eve crowd reminded me of vlogs I've watched from MK and Epcot. I don't go near either on on nye 😊 The rain and cold reminds me of why I moved from Seattle to Orlando 🌴☔😀 Happy New Year to both of you 🥰🎉
I loved this England series. Its my dream to go there. I told my husband once we are settled in Florida we are going to set up some trips and that is one of them. I wonder why you can't take pictures inside. Thats such a shame. Thank you for sharing.
Hi, 🎆Happy 2023 🎉 I'm so happy y'all had e each other and glad y'all had family time to. I smiled watching all the sweet moments. The crowds were insane, glad y'all found a great spot in the end, and the 🎇 fireworks were incredible. The Castle is amazing to. Thank you for sharing all this with us. Be Safe Take Care. I Pray and Hope 2023 will treat y'all kindly.
Crowd crush is very real, so I’m glad you both got out of there. It’s simply not worth it. Where you ended up was infinitely better! Being flexible and adapting is always the best attitude to have. Happy New Year! I think I’ve been subscribed since you were at maybe 10k ☺️
@@SuperEnthused yup! Heeeeeck no is right! The second it starts feeling even slightly harder to breathe and the panic flickers, it’s definitely time to bounce 👀
It was something I had really wanted to see and was really glad to have seen it with the Irish guard in particular because of their adorable dog and pipes and drums!
Hi Jackie and Sam, following along with you on your adventures brings me so much joy. I love how you fit so much into every adventure you have and share it all with us. You both remind me so much of my husband and I. We did Hogmanay in Edinburgh many many years ago, the crowds were nothing like you experienced and we were lucky we got to experience it in the snow! You made the best of it though and stayed super enthused! You inspire me and my sister every day to keep going with our own channel and sharing our adventures with our families. Happy New Year!
The crowd reminds me of the stampede accident in Korea last year, it was a very dangerous situation to get into a very tight and crowded event. People's behavior could be unpredictable and wild sometimes, so I'm glad that the two of you opted out and celebrated the new year comfortably instead.
I started to feel a bit panicked and couldn’t even film for a period of time before we started to make our way out of that first crowd. It was kind of scary for a moment.
Ahh jackie that was a lovely video. Im so glad you got to experience a hogmanay in scotland. We live 50 miles from Edinburgh and have never been to the street party however thats exactly what we been told its like. Im glad you and sam made the most of it , loved you had pizza and back to the room. Never visited Windsor castle before looks awesome closest ive been is legoland windsor. Take care of each other Xx
Yikes that crowd was crazy! I know I would have had a panic attack. You both handle the situation well. Glad you got a good place to see those amazing fireworks. Thanks for sharing. Happy 2023!
Happy New Year, to you both! Thank you so much for taking us along on this trip even with the snafus it was great fun to be with you. Look forward to seeing you at the parks and a New Year of excitement and joy from your perspective. Hugs!!!
Thank you for being there for it, Becky!! I’m so excited to be back home now and share a lot of the updates going on at my home parks (in the sunshine haha)!
Wow! Jackie, that was incredible! Thanks for sharing this! Brrrrr, so cold and wet, u two were such troopers! That's an experience you will never forget. Happy New Year! 🎉🎉🎉🥂🥂
What a GREAT VIDEO! So spontaneous and fun for the most part, considering the scary Hogmanay crowd part 🙈 Happy 2023, Jackie! May this year be of dreams coming true for you, Sam and all your loved ones! I watched this video as soon as it came out for members yesterday, but I waited till today to show you how much we appreciated it ❤ Your channel is our go-to channel, we love it! Also, London is SO beautiful! Windsor castle is breath-taking 🌟💕
I think my favorite videos of you are your travel outside of Florida. You have a wonderful knowledge surrounding the destinations and make me so miss my late mothers birthplace of Norwich. Thank and Happy New Year to you both. 🎉
Thank you Patricia, they are my favorite too! Having true adventures out there and seeing and sharing new and different places is so rewarding and it means so much to have support on that. Happy New Year to you as well ❤️
Thank you so much, Nancy!!! The castle was so awesome, I wish I could have shown more inside too because it was room after room of priceless treasures!!
That street party festival looks like the music festival that I went with my siblings a few years back minus the fireworks. It’s so crowded that I have to wear a mask, not because of covid, but so many people around me are smoking and I don’t want to inhale the smoke!
Hi Jackie, looks like you and Sam had an amazing start to the new year! I discovered your channel last year through Sam's channel and I want to say thank you for bringing us on your expeditions! I used to live in Florida and I miss all the theme parks and seeing all the new and upcoming rides makes me want to take an expedition of my own. Hope you and Sam have a happy and healthy new year with all new adventures!
The new years vibes remind me of Times Square, and I totally sympathize with the chaos as someone who tried Times Square once 🤣. It still seems like you guys had such a fun time
I live here in Edinburgh. Haven't been to The street party in years. Too crazy to busy. It's worse trying to get home afterwards. But I always love seeing someone else's point of view
We are in stitches watching this Jackie , credit to you and Sam for your good attitudes and always making the best of things and making us laugh 😂 we loved seeing the little “UNENTHUSED” moments that had us laughing so much ! This is a “BEEP” show 😂😂😂😂😂😂 happy “PLAN ZEDx10000” worked 😂 We love your spirit and that you get out there and try new things unlike so many vloggers who simply do the same things over and over , you take us on REAL ADVENTURES and always bring joy to our living room , even in a bad situation you bring us authentic and fun content ! Thank you for another year of REAL ADVENTURES we are excited for your new ones this new year !
Watching you and Sam braving the weather, while here in NC, it is freezing rain and ice. If ever you are in a cold place in the future, take some of the Hot Hands brand hand warmers that heat up when you shake them and place them on your wrists and it warms up your blood/body (careful not to burn yourself). I share your love of castles. My daughter went to London, Paris, and Vienna for a college study abroad program and I thank you for showing me some of what she would have experienced in London. ☀️❤️🏰
I was screaming at the TV telling you to turn around! I’ve never been to Edinburgh for Hogmanay and I never will and I’m only a hour away! So glad you guys got out!
Great video Jackie. I live in Edinburgh and have to say that Hogmanay is always over-rated. You must come back to Edinburgh in August for the Edinburgh International Festival - biggest Arts festival in the world . The partying lasts all month so it is not as intense in one night. Every pub, bar, hotel and spare bit of space is host to a performer, comedy, singer acrobat, theatre production or some form of entertainment, and the Tattoo has fireworks every night! Best of all its not as cold.
I've watched now and yes it's exactly why I've never gone. I wish I'd known you guys better and known you were here. We could have done a thusie Edinburgh new year!
Hay it was awesome meeting you today at the Disney Magic Kingdom as we got off the train at the main street station. You are such and inspiration. I hope to break out of my phobia and create my first YoUTube soon.
Happy New Year to you both the video was awesome and at least you 2 are together so it was a great night can't wait to see what you have planned for this year bless you both
Hi Jackie and Sam did you both have a nice holiday and are you and Sam haveing fun on your trip and how is the weather been on your trip you and Sam have fun on rest of your trip and be safe two👍👍👍👍👍
so sad that organizers have overcrowded the party and seem to forget what's going on in the world and it felt that safety wasn't considered ;(.. I'm glad you managed to find another option to see in the New Year :)

So spontaneous and fun for the most part, considering the scary Hogmanay crowd part 🙈
Happy 2023, Jackie! May this year be of dreams coming true for you, Sam and all your loved ones!
I watched this video as soon as it came out for members yesterday, but I waited till today to show you how much we appreciated it ❤
Your channel is our go-to channel, we love it!
Also, London is SO beautiful! Windsor castle is breath-taking 🌟💕
Ahhh Luciana, I appreciate this more than I can say!!!!!
Happy New Year to you as well ❤️
Both of you are amazing still being able to smile through all that chaos 😊 enjoyed the video the castle 🏰 was awesome
Great job pushing through and staying positive with all that craziness! Happy New Year! Looking forward to more of your awesome adventures😊
Thanks Jackie, really enjoyed the British vlogs!🇬🇧
Happy New Year Jackie.
Another fabulous Vlog top quality as always.
This is a “BEEP” show 😂😂😂😂😂😂 happy “PLAN ZEDx10000” worked 😂
We love your spirit and that you get out there and try new things unlike so many vloggers who simply do the same things over and over , you take us on REAL ADVENTURES and always bring joy to our living room , even in a bad situation you bring us authentic and fun content !
That sounds wonderful, I’d love to return in the spring or summer and also see more of Scotland!
Those videos were incredible. Thank you for sharing and taking us along! Happy New Year to you and Sam!
I've lived in Edinburgh over 10 years and never braved the street party. But then we can see the castle fireworks from our living room window!
I've watched now and yes it's exactly why I've never gone. I wish I'd known you guys better and known you were here. We could have done a thusie Edinburgh new year!
Fab vlog as always Jackie. Being from England I felt that cold 🥶. I'd rather spend my NYE in Orlando!
Hay it was awesome meeting you today at the Disney Magic Kingdom as we got off the train at the main street station. You are such and inspiration. I hope to break out of my phobia and create my first YoUTube soon.
Great to meet you too, Michael, it was a pleasure talking and I know you can do it!!!
Happy New Year to you both the video was awesome and at least you 2 are together so it was a great night can't wait to see what you have planned for this year bless you both
And I used to think NYE on Las Vegas Strip was crazy! Great video!
That is too much! Sorry the party didn’t work out, but I found this very interesting!
Hi Jackie and Sam did you both have a nice holiday and are you and Sam haveing fun on your trip and how is the weather been on your trip you and Sam have fun on rest of your trip and be safe two👍👍👍👍👍
Glad you loved my hometown 🖤🖤🖤
Hilarious - sorry you hated the crowds, I do too but seeing you two experience Hogmanay was fantastic 🤣🤣🤣 Happy New Year to you both 🎉❤
It was funny and memorable in many ways! I was laughing editing it!
Happy New Year Jackie & Sam 🎉🎉
Happy New Year, Kate!!!
It’s a good thing you got out of there. Always trust your gut. That was not safe.😬
so sad that organizers have overcrowded the party and seem to forget what's going on in the world and it felt that safety wasn't considered ;(.. I'm glad you managed to find another option to see in the New Year :)
I hope they learn from this and are better organized next year.
Thanks for sharing 🤗definitely a different experience
Madness to see you in a place so close to me, hope you enjoyed Bonnie Scotland!
I did! I want to go back to see the north and so much more of the country!!
Sorry to hear about the experience but it made such a funny video XD had me laughing so much!
It was a funny experience for us too, I was laughing and shaking my head while editing 😅
That first ten minutes was my idea of hell on earth! 😆
😂😂😂 honestly same but hey it’s an adventure
@Super Enthused absolutely, if you never try, you never know!
