Yeah core is still not very compact yet and not organized probably won't intensify a ton until it gets its act together. Just depends how fast it gets organized in its core on how big of a hurricane it will be, seems like its going to be a horrible flood event either way hope everyone in the affected areas is well prepared.
It can definitely jump to a category three easy all it needs is 100 miles or less to form and would it already been in the formation it can easily pick up the high temperatures of the water and gain rapid intensification

Storm surge 4 to 7ft. as of now that is for dry ground check your local weather for the west coast of Fla.some mandatory evacuations are taking place. Florida coastline is concave and is extremely vulnerable to surge. No chatter on this but with shallow waters very warm near 90° there will be no upwelling of cool water ..just another concernig factor. Also on the west side of Debbie the warm water depth is deep..the further west in track is very concerning imo a cat 3 is possible the longer it stays in open water far west before moves east..the spaghetti plot is extraordinary..and may cause historic rainfall amounts with flooding..Georgia and the Carolinas.north Fla poss...very good in detail Mitch👍🎛🌎 yes hopefully dry air sw portion of Debbie .could be ne quadrant loaded when over Fla or South Georgia..then after that ?
