      @truebeliever786 4 года назад

      @Al Mujahid fee Al Jihadat fee Sabililah No Shi'a rejects the Qur'an. In fact, I do recall authentic Ahadith from your own sources claiming that there was a verse on "stoning" that got lost or something ridiculous like that, when Allah himself decreed that the Qur'an is protected. Aliyun-Walliullah is not an empty declaration, it is from Ghadir Khumm, where the Holy Prophet said "Of whosoever I am master, then Ali is his master as well." I will agree that saying it during Adhan is not the correct way, as none of our Imams or the Prophet did so.
      You talk about the "Sahaba", what about Ammar ibn Yassir, one of the very first Sahaba? Mu'awiya's army killed him at Siffin, yet so many praise this cursed individual, in spite of this, even though the Prophet declared that whoever kills Ammar will be on the path towards the hellfire. Secondly, I don't make "fun" of Sahaba at all, but you can't whitewash history. History attests that the early Caliphs of Islam mistreated the family of the Holy Prophet, especially his daughter Fatima (SA) who was wrongly denied her rights to the lands of Fadak and Khaybar.

      Population of Iraq is mostly Arab now, but that was not the case in the 7th and 8th century. Iraq was the capital region of subsequent Persian Empires and was heavily Persianized, with Arabs living mostly in the south, along the (the Lakhmids). They became Arabized only in the centuries after the Islamic Conquest.
      "Following the Islamic conquest of Mesopotamia in the seventh century, a large proportion of the indigenous Syriac, Persian and other non-Arabic speaking people of Iraq (who largely practiced Eastern Christianity, Judaism or ancient Mesopotamian religions) became Muslims and were Arabized, eventually adopting the Arab identity with their religion, despite the majority of them not being ethnic Arabs.[12][13]"

    Weather it was politics disguised as religion or it was religion that got involved with politics, either way, this mess is what you get when you take your eye off the ball. No disrespect, but if any formidable conquerer in history had allowed his army to keep 4/5th of the booties and had also claimed that he was sent from God, would probably have a large religious following today. In my opinion the only time any religion is worth following is when it has no earthly ambitions among other considerations. When you mix it with earthly matters you get these fueds which defeats the object.
