if we had originally started Cade Clemson would probably be undefeated right now and in the playoff. If not undefeated, 11-1. and after USC and TCU losing, Clemson could have easily slid into the top 4. Even if they had just started him for the SC game, all Clemson needed there against SC was like 15/29 passing. Cade wouldn’t have even needed an insane performance, just enough to keep SC guessing. 8/29 didn’t cut it with DJ because Clemson was one dimensional last week. Also, we ran for 250 fucking yards and Streeter kept THROWING THE BALL. When you run for 250 on someone- just hand the fucking ball off the entire game. We will never know what could have been... and it hurts. Badly. DJ is a great guy, but some people just simply can’t handle huge amounts of pressure and expectation.
Yeah. He had a bad game against Wake I think it was? But Wiggins is the real deal. Perhaps the best DB since Jaire Alexander, Andrew Booth, or AJ Terrell.

Cade's 1st touchdown showcases some of his skill set. Rolls away from the pressure from 25, knows Shipley has his man sealed up, throws a beautiful lob over 33 in the back of the endzone. Great stuff. Really excited to see what this kid can do and if he can keep the pattern of great Clemson QBs (Boyd, Watson, Lawrence) broken up by a few not so great QBs (Parker, Stoudt, Bryant, DJU).

I just don't think he will ever have the mechanics to play that position. If you cannot succeed at a school with a great OL, great receivers, and great coaching, it will be hard to do well at lower tier schools. Or maybe he will shine--he needs some serious introspection.
Dabo has a nasty, nasty habit of taking the foot off the gas when the team has a decent lead. We've seen it come back to bite him. It disrupts the rhythm on both sides of the ball and creates stagnation. My guess is that he is too concerned about running up the score on the opposing team's coach. His fear of replacing DJ because he didn't want him to transfer cost us being in the CFP. Looks like DJ is gone anyway. This season is a failure and is on Dabo.
My guess is more he's limiting turnovers in this game. Look back at the last game and the ND game. Turnovers is what cost the game. This game, they had none.
