    I really like what you did with the black outer layer for the dice and the sort of gradient you tried in the beginning was kinda genius! It really looked like the fire is burning amidst the dark of the night

    What kind of glycerin are you using? Mine keeps separating from the water and also stops the mica powder from actually moving around.

      I'll be honest, I've been using a really old bottle that I got in a thing of art supplies from my grandma's collection of art supplies. It appear to be an older version of this one, though: www.amazon.com/Humco-103116001-Glycerin-USP-oz/dp/B0B81BTRB1

    What did you use to make the keychains?

    • @alchemistsattic
      @alchemistsattic  11 месяцев назад

      Just a crystal shaped silicone mold. You can find them for pretty cheap on amazon or similar sites online. I poured it, sanded the end down flat, drilled a hole, and then added an eye screw to the top to attach it to the keychain :)

    What sander were you using to finish up the dice before you tumbled them?

    • @alchemistsattic
      @alchemistsattic  Год назад

      It's actually a flat lapidary wheel that I modified to use for resin :). If you're looking to get something for sanding, I've heard of people getting mini pottery wheels as well, with good success.

      Oh man, I feel like I'm still figuring out how to most effectively use the tumbler myself, but I'll see what I can do!
