Even if you work in high technology here in Israel it is difficult, because here the companies prefer the engineers who studied in Israel and who have just left the universities or who have 10 years of experience in a specific area. And apart the competition for High Tech positions is very high because everyone wants to be there. All olim work in low-paying jobs, even if they have academic degrees.
