I know something is off about her, she seems to perfect for Ed to be true, but I can't help love this scene. Cory and Chelsea make this moment so wonderful.

Saw the episode... I think she's just as crazy as the rest of them.
This just makes me more ticked off of how quickly they got rid of Miss Kringle. There's really not too many good female characters on the show and she was one of the few. Not to mention Captain Essen, and, YES, Fish, who I kind of liked and think was unjustly maligned. They get rid of the good ones and keep the crap ones! Selina is the only regular female character left that's likable or tolerable.
Her design is so much like Madeline's from Vertigo.

I don't think Gotham writers are able to write any decent quality satire. They are wonderful at referencing (I genuinely enjoy how they do it, very creative), but they fail to put any bigger idea or purpose behind it, so when we try to look at the whole picture, it does not make sense. This goes for the original Cinderella reference, this goes for Trump reference, this goes for Twilight reference and for many others. They are just there for the sake of fun, they do not set up any moral tbh.

Andrew Zataray You missed the entire point of her character. Isabella with the "swan-like neck" is Bella Swan from Twilight. She falls for a crazy stalker/murderer named Edward in less than a day and she obsesses over him as her storybook true love. This is literally Twilight logic. The writers are saying that Nygmobblepot is "still a better love story than Twilight" by introducing a character and storyline that exactly mimics Twilight, and now they are sitting back watching the majority of the fandom dislike this Isabella, pleased that they accomplished their message.

Andrew Zataray lol no, Ed never loves her, he always love Kristen and that's why he is interested in Isabella, because she is like a clone. I'm glad she is dead, what a mess. The only thing I hate is that the show never explains anything about her,in the end Isabella was a flat and senseless character created only to originate problems between Ed and the penguin, and that's why Isabella and Ed are boring together. And what a shame, she could have been a great villain or an interesting character.
