When my husband noticed me using something new, I would tell him I had it for awhile and just hadn’t used it yet. He had a couple of expensive hobbies too plus, whenever he happened across yard sales or someone with craft items he would stop and see what they had.
He’s a keeper 🥰🥰🥰 to be fair my hubby is brilliant and so supportive plus, he plays golf and that costs a lot more than craft 😂😂🥰🥰🥰

Interesting that if you bayer then emboss before the die cutting you get no white outline and the stamping and embossing you do get the white outline. I will use each for differant looks. Thanks
Hi Carolyn, that’s because you’re filling the whole card and therefore the die cut piece with embossing, the stamps are designed to leave an outline with the die. I hope that makes sense 🥴🤗🤗🤗

I tried this embossing within parchment paper. I found to separate the embossing powder from the parchment paper, if you run the paper (I used a paper towel) you can see them separate then just lift up.
I either leave it to completely cool and then it just releases or keep the heat on and lift, I love this technique 🥰🥰🥰
Rub your iron with a paste of baking soda and lemon juice, or you can use vinegar, I like the smell of the lemon. It should lift that off your iron, if bits are still stuck heat your iron up a little then put the paste on, jobs a good un …….well we hope it is lol hugs x Ann x

The most crisp ink you will ever use and it’s a guaranteed one time impression is versa fine Clair. I have used that black for many years and ended up buying a set of colors in rainbow. It’s not the same as versa fine- it’s versa fine Clair. I promise you will love it for sentiments for sure. Have you tried any inking or die cutting on that 110# I sent you? Just curious.

@@marionemberson oh you’re such a tease! Did you like it? I finished off a card I had started last year. But today and yesterday, I made a card and I thought of something I forgot to tell you about the Neenah 110#. Since the paper is so thick, if you get a smear of ink from your fingers or a stamped image gets a tiny bit of the cut edge, you can use these fantastic erasing blocks and evenly sand it off. Much better than a mono eraser. They sell them at SSS if you search paper sanding blocks. Sorry I forgot to tell you. Save every little scrap because 2-3 can be stacked to use for dimension on sentiment strips instead of foam. Also perfect for adding dimension for die cuts! I do hope you aren’t disappointed and give it some time. But I love you no matter what! I respect your opinions highly. I can’t wait to see it!
