Poor Oak seems to have tunnel vision when trying to solve puzzles. He doesn't look at his surrounds long enough to notice the relevant items needed to solve them. However, I did also get hung up on the chandelier zone. But once I looked up and saw the lantern in the alcove i face palmed myself and moved on. Watching Oak play is equal parts enjoyment and frustration. The Haunted Hogsmead quest was not an update with new content, but a release of content to all players. This quest was a playstation exclusive upon game release. The update in summer just allowed non playstation users to have access to the quest. Oh, dear lord help me not scream at the tv. The graphorn is a mount, like all your other mounts, you have to mount it like the hipogryph.
For me the biggest disappointment of this mission was that, after all that trouble, you can't actually run a shop in Hogsmeade. You essentially just have the ability to sell gear to Penny for a bit more money than you'd get at other shops. It would have been so much fun to have the ability to customize the shop in a similar way you're able to in the Room of Requirement, be able to sell potions you make and plants you grow, ingredients from taking care of your beasts, etc. And to see other NPCs in the space the same way you do other shops in Hogsmeade. Such a wasted opportunity, imo.
@@againes.1 very true, I thought the same thing! Missed opportunity. We could have sold everything that we had excess of. Beast fur and feathers, potion ingredients, potions, etc. Clothing was only that basic thing they implemented.
Hey Oak, I noticed a pattern that when you’re presented with a puzzle you focus on the first object you see and you use all spells on it. I think it might help to first explore the room and see all options first to see what the room is trying to tell you. For example, when you took a step back with one of the first haunted rooms you realized all you had to do was light a lantern. Before you kept casting spells on a random object you can interact with. Hope this helps! I enjoyed the haunted shop at first but it started to drag on and I also was getting sooo frustrated !

I was finally able to play the haunted shop quest for the first time the other day and I liked it! It was fun fresh and got you really thinking. Fighting upside down was so cool and it did get a little spooky at times. Plus the fight at the end was awesome. However I wish we got to do more with the shop like customize and have actual shoppers buy and sell things.

There are 3 chests in each vivarium and there will be a total 4 vivariums equaling 12 chests, there are also about 15 “Follow the Butterfly” chests too. Your challenges will say 100% on the pages collected and 100% on Merlin Trials, but there are more.
Just because something isn't to your taste or style doesn't mean that the game devs fucked up. The haunted house part of the game isn't new, it's been part of the game since the beginning (just only available to PS5 users for the first year) and it's one of the more popular aspects amongst a lot of gamers. I understand your frustration, it most definitely doesn't suit your style but own that to yourself, not blame others. Edit: OMG Oak, you're doing it again with the 4th Trial Graphorn mistake. This was not the game fault, that was your misunderstanding. The music was playing that whole time because the Graphorn was with you!
I sort of agree. I don't mind mysteries and puzzles, but I didn't like the quest. For me the lantern in the little cubby hole during the upside down room with the upside down hanging chandelier part wasn't showing on revelio, I don't actually know if any of them do because I didn't have an issue finding or seeing any of the other lanterns, but that one in particular took like 5 - 10 mins for me to find for whatever reason. I only found it because I tried to do the same thing Oak did and jump from the lower balcony to the higher balcony and landed on the rail with the invisible wall. I also thought it was a glitch until I happened notice the lantern in the hole in the wall. The final fight with the upside down camera was great. I agree though that just because I didn't like it doesn't mean the devs fucked up. But they kind of did. And then you don't even get a shop out of it, you just sell crap gear to Penny. If they let you open a shop and set up potions, ingredients, and gear in little sections to sell for a passive income of sorts it would have been a much better quest. Not that gold means anything at end game, but it would have been more immersive and fun. As for the Graphorn thing, I get that it's sort of Oaks fault for trying to fight with it and got knocked off, however, the devs again kind of fucked up. If the prompt that comes up telling you the Graphorn has a powerful charge attack ALSO said, you now have the Graphorn and can summon it just like your Hippogryph and Broom, then it would have been 100% Oaks fault for not reading that or not doing it.
i watched another gameplay where the person wanted to get shortcuts, she fell of a cliff, lost the mount, fell into the water and then she was swimming in the air for a while 😂😂 and then she died lol
If it helps Oak... sometimes... I tend to always go to the right... eventually in dungeons and caves and such... if you always go right unless you can't then go left... then eventually you will return to the entrance from the left... if that makes sense? It helps me not get lost. Also... I get your passion and I love it. As for the Unicorn you got lucky and got a male with that female... I think I had to return to the forest 20 times to get a male to spawn. You'll also be able to get more of the graphorns ... so you will be able to breed those too... the only thing you can't get more of is the Phoenix... Which I've always found very disappointing. But it is what it is. Anyway sometimes I do scream at the screen ... this would be one of those times... how many times you went and got out your broom and failed to see the Graphorn right there next to it???? I lost count... I kept thinking one of those times when you brought that menu up you'd see it... If it makes you feel better that's how I found mine after I accidentally dismounted from it.
Honestly, I didn't like Haunted Hogsmeade. It was confusing, the ghost was annoying, I hate mannequins and this didn't help, and in the end, the reward wasn't worth the time or effort. My favorite quest is when you get to save Highwing, and I've Platinumed the game. (Oh, and the third trial is pretty great, too!)
Rearranged the lanterns, didn't look around to see what path they unlocked. The whole idea of unlocking the path forward in this quest is connected to lanterns, let's try to move the chandelier instead.
I think you misunderstood what this was. This mission was already in the original game. The first year of release it was exclusive for playstation players, they just now added it in for nintendo, pc and xbox. It's not a NEW mission with the update, it's always been there. And to add to your question; it's generally known as the best and most favourite mission in the game by most people that played it
That memory near the end was in my top three “moments in the game I couldn’t wait to see you watch”. Its an excellent climax to that subplot, and floored me when I first saw it, as I’d avoided spoilers thus far.

I am not good at parkour type stuff in games like the one in the doungeon, so these kinds of challenges are always frustrating for me as well. 2:29:09 bless you At 2:54:01, it gave the thing on the top that says it is a mount. That display does go away a bit quickly, so I don't blame you for missing it.
As soon as you got on the Graphorn at 2:54:02, the game told you you'd unlocked the Graphorn mount. The Graphorn, as well as the unicorn, will only ever have one at a time in the creature den. You can return periodically and get another. It's easier to get Graphorns in future. as you can land on the rock in the. middle and attack from there. I didn't mind the shop quest too much, but it did drive me a bit nuts at times. I do like that you get 10% extra for selling clothes from your shop. There will be a lot of quests on the World Map. Most hamlets have a quest but you need to look for the markers. You'll also hear people trying to ask you for your help when you're near the marker. There's one that starts in the Three Broomsticks that leads you to one of the hamlets on the right of the map. I don't want to spoil anything, but near the beginning, look around the town for notes. They are indoors, outdoors and one on a roof. They do add to the story of what happened in that situation.

I'm catching up on your Hogwarts Legacy playthroughs. I remember playing the Haunted Hogsmeade quest with a migraine. Let's just say I was so frustrated with it and was mean to Penny when it was all over. 😆🤷♀️
Shopkeeper mission was Playstation 5 only at first and only after the summer update it became available for other platforms. I played it in my first playthrough almost at the same point in playthrough as you and enjoyed it very much! It is still my favorite mission in the whole game. I love the spooky vibes and puzzle elements it gives and Fastido is so brilliant to me! I smiled almost the whole mission and in my opinion it gave the best visual than in any other mission with it's changing maze and upside down physics. I am sad to hear you didn't enjoy it as much, but I guess it is not everyones cup of tea.
I totally get you, Oak 😂 I hated that quest. It’s just too long. I played it last year/beginning of this year, not sure anymore. Didn’t know at all what I was in for. I thought it was a quick quest before turning in for the night. Once I was done I was so mad, I was ready to go, learn the Unforgivables and kill that lady 😂
It was a short 20 min quest. For all the fuss people were doing about the quest finally become available to all platforms I hoped for more content than this.

👉OK... I respect what you are trying to say about the Dugbogs. And on any normal occasion I would totally agree with you. But if you pay attention to what all the NPCs, including Poppy, are saying the Dugbogs and some of the other dangerous animals seem to be infected with something. If you pay attention to the storyline as your character does investigation work, it is looking like the goblins are poisoning the water with dark magic as they do their dark magic metal work. The same magic they do to make the collars that control the dragons and the same magic they use to make their dark magic weapons is seeping into the water and affecting some of the magical beasts. Even Poppy said that, "...it's as if there was something in the water." And she said it as you were approaching some goblin metals and armors that were laying around next to a small lake that had the dugbog that attacked the stag. The dugbogs have worse than rabies. They are poisoned, and it seem that there might not be any cure. Remember Sebastian's sister, Ann? The healers gave up on her because they couldn't cure her. She might soon turn dark like the dugbogs if she doesn't die. 🪄💀😈

Yes you indeed missed it, like you miss many things, cuz it said Graphorn mount as soon as you mounted it, and he should be same as the hippogriffs be in a vivarium, catch a female one and breed them, you can still use them as mounts
There are floating pages, always look up and around for them. Maybe look at the far ends of the map in Hogsmeade, especially if you have all of the “revelio” place pages already. Floating pages don’t ding, same as the ones with the levioso statues and fire pylons.
no, thats not just you. Its the same tempo, structure, a very similar variation of the strings pattern, same orchestration... maybe the game devs used the HTTYD score as a temp track and the composers had to do something similar? Or the composers had it as inspiration..
I felt the exact same way after my first play through. It was incredibly frustrating and dragged out to a point where it wasn’t an enjoyable payoff by the end.
Theres 15 quests called "follow the butterflies" that you might want to just RUclips them. Otherwise youll need to fly around the entire map castign revelio until you find them all.
Just a word of warning on one of the quests, the “Portrait in a Pickle” quest . In this quest, if you burn the portrait, you’ll never reach level 40 in your playthrough. If you hang the portrait back in the Three Broomsticks, it will keep secrets floating about the village. If you had waited to do the Venomous Revenge quest, nobody in the village will question you about Lawley being burglarized.
@@piotrnowak8725 that’s weird, because it wouldn’t count it as completing one of the side quests when I did it. Of course, it was really buggy at the time. Maybe they changed it. Gonna have to try it on another evil playthrough.
😂 Personally, I loved the Haunted Hogsmeade Quest. And it came with my ps5 version of my Hogwarts Legacy game that my brother gifted me for Christmas in 2023. This being part of the update was basically so that everyone can now play it instead of only ps5 console owners. 👻❤️🔥🪄
This wasn't actually a new quest. PlayStation player had this quest day one. So the update for them sucked because they didn't really get anything new.
I really love this playthrough and you playing Oak, but it is really frustrating for us as viewers how you get frustrated during a quest just because you don't pay attention to the clues/information that's being given and we can't be there to help you, like with the graphorn and the fact you can mount and unmount it just like a broom 😂 you make the quests look way more difficult than they actually are. Anyways, I hope all this doesn't make you put down the game, because I would like to see you complete it at 100%, just...pay more attention next time so it saves you the frustration and the Google searches 😅
I didn’t like the Hogsmeade haunted shop mission either, wasn’t for me! I just found it a bit long with not much reward. The best part was interacting with Penny!

Ain’t no way he beat the Graphorn that easily. I die like 40 times cuz my attacks only scratch it at best, meanwhile Oak hits like only 7 times and he beat it. WTF?
Me yelling at you because your Graphorn is in your tool wheel, just the same as the broom and Highwing. You just press X instead of any other button. You put the Graphorn away like the broom and Highwing.
👉Oak... honey... you NEED to Slow Down. That is why you get turned around and why you miss things. You are running so fast that you don't give yourself a chance to fully look AROUND. There were no glitches in your Haunted Hogsmeade Quest. You just have to slow down and look ALL around. Plus, you need to look up and down and behind you. The answers sometimes are so obvious if you just slow down and take your time at looking around and up and down. Slow down. 🏃♂️🚫 🚶♂️👀⬆️👀⬇️👀➡️👀⬅️🚶♂️👍 SLOW DOWN and take your time looking around and UP and Down.
Tbf there was ONE glitch in the quest, but it was minimum. it was the glowing effect of a spell (accio i think) wich remained in screen in the middle of a door where the lanterns made the floor appear. Aside from that you are complete right. i believe that is due to his ADHD and because of that he is bad at puzzles, another examples where he struggled like that are the flipendo merlin trial and the trial of professor rookwood with the blue-red arch.
I was yelling at the screen just checked your inventory! Instead of selecting a broomstick or a hippogriff you now have the option of Lord of the shore!
While I enjoy watching, you need to stop blaming the game for things. You're going too fast or you're impatient, so you miss important information or clues. That's entirely on you and you can work on that. Other than that I enjoy watching the gameplay.
For me, I love doing nice things. However at my job... well... You have to have a pretty thick skin because well... very few people like what I do. Sure I have a few "fans"... we'll call it... who appreciate that I do my job pretty well... but 99.9% of people do NOT like to see me. If you haven't guessed... I'm the lab tech who comes to get the blood... I carry my little tray of needles and no one likes to see me. But most do appreciate that I do my job well... just no one likes to get poked... well I can't say no one... there are the occasional weirdos out there. But yeah... I love my job it can be very rewarding... helping people. But it can also be very... sad. Good days and bad days. But I like to think that I make a difference... And can I just say that I get the biggest smile every single time you stop and pet a cat? I was very disappointed as well in the Hogsmeade shop thing that I can't sell potions or ingredients for potions or anything but the same old fare that you sell everywhere else... and you can't even decorate the shop!!! Maybe in future update... one can dream and hope no? Anyway... I enjoy watching you play. Anyway always entertaining.
The haunted Hogsmeade quest is not new, they just released it for all platforms because of its popularity. It's my favorite quest and was excited to see you do it. But this video just frustrated me a lot. You really did not know what you were doing and to take that out on the creators of the game is not fair. Youre running around in circles because youre not looking around at what you need to do. You would enjoy the game more if you paid closer attention to what you need to do and not get so frustrated. Dont take your own mistakes out on the game developers

There will be a lot of quests on the World Map. Most hamlets have a quest but you need to look for the markers. You'll also hear people trying to ask you for your help when you're near the marker. There's one that starts in the Three Broomsticks that leads you to one of the hamlets on the right of the map. I don't want to spoil anything, but near the beginning, look around the town for notes. They are indoors, outdoors and one on a roof. They do add to the story of what happened in that situation.

I'm catching up on your Hogwarts Legacy playthroughs. I remember playing the Haunted Hogsmeade quest with a migraine. Let's just say I was so frustrated with it and was mean to Penny when it was all over. 😆🤷♀️
Shopkeeper mission was Playstation 5 only at first and only after the summer update it became available for other platforms. I played it in my first playthrough almost at the same point in playthrough as you and enjoyed it very much! It is still my favorite mission in the whole game. I love the spooky vibes and puzzle elements it gives and Fastido is so brilliant to me! I smiled almost the whole mission and in my opinion it gave the best visual than in any other mission with it's changing maze and upside down physics. I am sad to hear you didn't enjoy it as much, but I guess it is not everyones cup of tea.
I totally get you, Oak 😂 I hated that quest. It’s just too long. I played it last year/beginning of this year, not sure anymore. Didn’t know at all what I was in for. I thought it was a quick quest before turning in for the night. Once I was done I was so mad, I was ready to go, learn the Unforgivables and kill that lady 😂
It was a short 20 min quest. For all the fuss people were doing about the quest finally become available to all platforms I hoped for more content than this.

👉OK... I respect what you are trying to say about the Dugbogs. And on any normal occasion I would totally agree with you. But if you pay attention to what all the NPCs, including Poppy, are saying the Dugbogs and some of the other dangerous animals seem to be infected with something. If you pay attention to the storyline as your character does investigation work, it is looking like the goblins are poisoning the water with dark magic as they do their dark magic metal work. The same magic they do to make the collars that control the dragons and the same magic they use to make their dark magic weapons is seeping into the water and affecting some of the magical beasts. Even Poppy said that, "...it's as if there was something in the water." And she said it as you were approaching some goblin metals and armors that were laying around next to a small lake that had the dugbog that attacked the stag.
The dugbogs have worse than rabies. They are poisoned, and it seem that there might not be any cure. Remember Sebastian's sister, Ann? The healers gave up on her because they couldn't cure her. She might soon turn dark like the dugbogs if she doesn't die.

Yes you indeed missed it, like you miss many things, cuz it said Graphorn mount as soon as you mounted it, and he should be same as the hippogriffs be in a vivarium, catch a female one and breed them, you can still use them as mounts
There are floating pages, always look up and around for them. Maybe look at the far ends of the map in Hogsmeade, especially if you have all of the “revelio” place pages already. Floating pages don’t ding, same as the ones with the levioso statues and fire pylons.
Is it just me or the music at the graphorn sounds a little too much like How to train your dragon theme.
no, thats not just you. Its the same tempo, structure, a very similar variation of the strings pattern, same orchestration... maybe the game devs used the HTTYD score as a temp track and the composers had to do something similar? Or the composers had it as inspiration..

Theres 15 quests called "follow the butterflies" that you might want to just RUclips them. Otherwise youll need to fly around the entire map castign revelio until you find them all.

you missed it... Right after you get onto the Graphorn it appears top middle of the screen 'New mount unlocked: Graphorn'

Just a word of warning on one of the quests, the “Portrait in a Pickle” quest . In this quest, if you burn the portrait, you’ll never reach level 40 in your playthrough. If you hang the portrait back in the Three Broomsticks, it will keep secrets floating about the village. If you had waited to do the Venomous Revenge quest, nobody in the village will question you about Lawley being burglarized.
I burned it and I reached level 40.
@@piotrnowak8725 that’s weird, because it wouldn’t count it as completing one of the side quests when I did it. Of course, it was really buggy at the time. Maybe they changed it. Gonna have to try it on another evil playthrough.
😂 Personally, I loved the Haunted Hogsmeade Quest. And it came with my ps5 version of my Hogwarts Legacy game that my brother gifted me for Christmas in 2023. This being part of the update was basically so that everyone can now play it instead of only ps5 console owners.

This wasn't actually a new quest. PlayStation player had this quest day one. So the update for them sucked because they didn't really get anything new.

I really love this playthrough and you playing Oak, but it is really frustrating for us as viewers how you get frustrated during a quest just because you don't pay attention to the clues/information that's being given and we can't be there to help you, like with the graphorn and the fact you can mount and unmount it just like a broom 😂 you make the quests look way more difficult than they actually are.
Anyways, I hope all this doesn't make you put down the game, because I would like to see you complete it at 100%, just...pay more attention next time so it saves you the frustration and the Google searches 😅

I didn’t like the Hogsmeade haunted shop mission either, wasn’t for me! I just found it a bit long with not much reward. The best part was interacting with Penny!
And, remember, you get bonus (10%) for selling excess product to your own shop.
I had a LOT of fun with the Haunted Shop quest because I look around and have a sense of direction... Sorry, that was rude. This was a little rough to watch lol...

Me yelling at you because your Graphorn is in your tool wheel, just the same as the broom and Highwing. You just press X instead of any other button. You put the Graphorn away like the broom and Highwing.

👉Oak... honey... you NEED to Slow Down. That is why you get turned around and why you miss things. You are running so fast that you don't give yourself a chance to fully look AROUND. There were no glitches in your Haunted Hogsmeade Quest. You just have to slow down and look ALL around. Plus, you need to look up and down and behind you. The answers sometimes are so obvious if you just slow down and take your time at looking around and up and down. Slow down.

Tbf there was ONE glitch in the quest, but it was minimum. it was the glowing effect of a spell (accio i think) wich remained in screen in the middle of a door where the lanterns made the floor appear. Aside from that you are complete right. i believe that is due to his ADHD and because of that he is bad at puzzles, another examples where he struggled like that are the flipendo merlin trial and the trial of professor rookwood with the blue-red arch.
I was yelling at the screen just checked your inventory! Instead of selecting a broomstick or a hippogriff you now have the option of Lord of the shore!

Bruh, they have to play Uncharted 1-3 before the last one! Not just for the sake of the story, because they're fantastic games!
While I enjoy watching, you need to stop blaming the game for things. You're going too fast or you're impatient, so you miss important information or clues. That's entirely on you and you can work on that. Other than that I enjoy watching the gameplay.
For me, I love doing nice things. However at my job... well... You have to have a pretty thick skin because well... very few people like what I do. Sure I have a few "fans"... we'll call it... who appreciate that I do my job pretty well... but 99.9% of people do NOT like to see me. If you haven't guessed... I'm the lab tech who comes to get the blood... I carry my little tray of needles and no one likes to see me. But most do appreciate that I do my job well... just no one likes to get poked... well I can't say no one... there are the occasional weirdos out there. But yeah... I love my job it can be very rewarding... helping people. But it can also be very... sad. Good days and bad days. But I like to think that I make a difference...
And can I just say that I get the biggest smile every single time you stop and pet a cat?
I was very disappointed as well in the Hogsmeade shop thing that I can't sell potions or ingredients for potions or anything but the same old fare that you sell everywhere else... and you can't even decorate the shop!!! Maybe in future update... one can dream and hope no? Anyway... I enjoy watching you play. Anyway always entertaining.

The haunted Hogsmeade quest is not new, they just released it for all platforms because of its popularity. It's my favorite quest and was excited to see you do it. But this video just frustrated me a lot. You really did not know what you were doing and to take that out on the creators of the game is not fair. Youre running around in circles because youre not looking around at what you need to do. You would enjoy the game more if you paid closer attention to what you need to do and not get so frustrated. Dont take your own mistakes out on the game developers
