Its a shame that drivers like Saima is doing so well yet isnt fully quite passable yet, but dangerous drivers like that are already on the road having passed 🙄
Saima is driving very well now. The major fault was in a situation where it can be difficult to know when to go. I would myself rather fail on being too careful than on doing something dangerous.
I think a part of it in these situations is you are worried that the gap you would take would be a fail due to being a bit too reckless, so you are over conservative.

You're doing great there Saima, just a wee bit more tidying up and smoothing things out and you'll absolutely smash that test! Then we were more or less side by side, me in the inside lane and them on the slip road, Last minute the chevron marks are separating us when this pick up truck just zoomed straight across both of us, there was a huge lorry behind me and I had to brake hard.

I don’t get why other drivers have to do that - it’s so unnecessary. They need to remember that “once upon a time, they were in the exact same position as Saima”
Can i just say like 5 months after i passed i didnt know how to do 3+ lane roundabouts but watching yours videos has taught me how so now i can comfortably drive in Wolverhampton 😅
When I took my test, sometime before petrol was discovered, we did have to wait for both sides to be clear when entering a main road. That was the last time I did it. Good luck Saima. Is that an angry Aman? Even then you’re incredibly pleasantly spoken. The last time I saw someone do a trick like that I caught him at a roundabout and he had his family with him. The wife and children stopped me using the language I wanted to.
When I just started learning driving (still learning now), there was an e-bike rider travelling on the road. He swerved into the lane I was driving in and my instructor had to take control of the wheel too. I could feel my heart stop. Seeing that car change lane abruptly, cutting into Saima's lane, reminded me of my driving lesson. Gosh these people are hazards on the road.
10:50 signal timing quite late and also I'd probably have put the left indicator on when she moved across at 10:37 even if there were blockers for the cars which could've joined the roundabout to her left
That guy overtaking at 11:40 was Illegal and could be fined for it tbh, that was very risky, his car number is clearly visible aswell... he should be ashamed for making that passby
That driver overtaking like that was crazy. So impatient. You can't always predict drivers like that, but overtime all the driving experience accumulated does help spot some of them. It's been quite some time since I was a learner, but I imagine that it must be so much more terrifying for those only just starting to drive or getting ready to take their test when that happens.
Since I’ve passed, driving in a busy city can be stressful because of dangerous and impatient drivers; I’ve had people beep at me and overtake suddenly when I’m just driving normally at the speed limit
props to her for doing it in a manual. i can't even drive manual. so fortunate to have a gps telling where to go. i live in n.z and all most people is driving teacher telling us where to turn just before the turn
Yeah I think this was a satnav only mock test; most of the time it will be the examiner telling you where to go, and maybe 15 minutes of satnav following. Drive safe :)
Saima did well on this mock test, just a shame about the undue hesitation. Aman you did well with the stupid driver overtaking and calming Saima down as she was visibly upset.
a second comment/question. The point you took physical action. what would happen if that incident occurred a couple of hours after the person had passed their test? You wouldnt be there to help out neither would an examiner. surely the pupil should be at a standard where they can deal with idiots ? then there is the emerging/undue hesitation, ive seen examiners say to candidates, what would your instructor tell you to do here? or im going to assist you here and it wont be marked in your test. ... usually because tthey are running out of time. I should add that I was a grade 6 instructor for 10 years and that im now returning to teaching after a 12 year break. really enjoy your videos.
Situations like that happen every day, that's why people get into accidents. It was stupid for the Renault driver to try to overtake there and the oncoming Ford had to slow down as well. It takes time to reach that standard where you can deal with most kind of idiots, now she knows to slow down and let the overtaking car go. About that T junction... it's a complicated situation. In an ideal world she would have creeped forward so people would yield to her, and that's what the car behind her wanted her to do. It's not easy to find that balance between staying at an intersection forever and blocking oncoming traffic.
I’ve been driving an automatic for so long I’m pretty sure I would fail in a manual even though I drove one for years. I can imagine me screaming along in first gear everywhere.
Sami's hand movement are very small allowing her to only go round corners very slowly limiting progress. You never see a hand at 12 o'clock or 6 o'clock. When changing up gears she always depresses the clutch before holding the gear level so fast acceleration is not possible as drive is disconnected for the maximum length of time. When emerging right learners always look for cars and traffic, not gaps coming up. The gap from the right does not have to be as big as the one from the left.
I felt frustrated watching the hesitation when she was turning right. This is mainly confidence but she needs to be more confident when there is a gap.
I finally passed my driving test after the 4 time. Idk about examiners in uk, my examiners are pure evil for example: they will tell you to go to a path where you’re not supposed to go so they’ll try to mess with you, or they will try to change the mirrors etc and they’ll fail you, even if you drove very good they will fail you. They do this for money
I myself drive around this area a lot and know how difficult it can be, especially that junction near southall broadway where there was a constant flow of traffic both ways
(7:51)Oh my god, what that driver did was extremely dangerous. Not only did that driver put the learner in danger, but he also put other drivers in danger by doing that stupid overtake. Honestly, what an absolute moron.
safety aspect. i wish the officer in my country would consider that. cause i remembered one time, i was turning into this tiny but busy junction, and a motorbike just cut me from my left out of nowhere. this was a bike that I've seen a few roads back, he's been whizzing around the cars and everything. i turned in, the bike came out from my left in my blindspot in HIGH speed, with oncoming traffic from the junction AND the opposing road in front of us, i had to keep moving or the car from the junction would definitely hit me, they were very close at that point. the bike managed to continue on with no accident. the officer stopped the car in the middle of the road, told me to switch sides and immediately failed me saying i should have watched out, i was unfit for driving and that it's my fault. like? what???
HI! i'm a new viewer to this channel! Aman - do you teach your students to go "over/under" with their grip of the wheel when they're turning and then while holding the wheel to naturally turn back into place to go straight?
Why would you even start honking like that when you see its a car with a Learner sign on it? Also, isn't actually an offense to use the honk just because you are annoyed at a learner taking it a little too slow or hesitating? I thought honking was for warning others about some hazard coming, is there a law about this, anyone know?
TAKER HER OUT TO AN EMPTY PARKING LOT, PRACTICE STOMPING ON THE GAS AND SLAMMING ON THE BREAKS. PRACTICE BREAKING IN HARD TURNS. BREAK THE FEAR, ITS YOUR WORST ENEMY.
Damn at the busy junction I had no idea you had to go into the middle of the road to get in I was recently at a super busy junction and I had to sit there for like 15 mins for a gap to open on both sides. If I had just gone to the middle I'd have gotten through way quicker...
Wouldn't say mine was that drastic but I had an incident where the driving instructor Broke the car but I still passed. I was at the front waiting to come onto a roundabout. I see a car on my 1st exit indicating right. Telling me they wanted to come off where I was coming from. I'm thinking GREAT they will be my shield and give me time to go. When the other cars stop for this car. I look ahead and start to move forward but glance back to make absolutely sure to realise that they were doing a full 360 on the roundabout and yes the examiner went for the brakes but so did I. I honestly thought I failed and my nerves went through the roof. Luckily I kept them together enough to pass. He told me that my way of thinking wasn't really wrong as he would of assumed the same thing and would of done what I did. yes he went for the brakes but because I did also at the same time and reacted to the situation quickly and well. He was happy to let that go. I honestly couldn't believe it.
For someone who already took a test and felt ready to do so, she shouldn’t be this hesitant and unready, as well as I don’t think the footwear is the best for Driving, but I guess that’s a personal choice
I can vouch for the number of impatient, arrogant drivers in this area. I'd love to know when this was filmed, because in my experience there's invariably a long queue to cross the canal bridge at the end of the drive!
I totally understand that junction would of scared me as well, as even pulling out when people are miles away on the main road can cause them to turn into the Hulk 😂 basically 99% of road users think about them selves 😂 I pulled out from a side road when the car was stationary and it horned me, but if I hadn't gone I'd of been there all day 😭 P s that over take was so dumb how do these tools get a license 🙀 haha 😆
Just a quick question, why is Saima following a satnav for the whole of a mock test? Its my understanding that its only required for a short part of the driving test.
come on, undue hesitation at 5:10 ? there's are constant stream of cars coming from both directions. And you are not supposed to pull out even if a car is turning left unless you can see behind. What if a bike is coming as they turn left? Like that van at 5:34, you WON"T know whether there will be any bikes close behind it and as soon as it's turning, they carry on. If you pull out at that point, you are going to cut them up and straight fail.
People like that nutcase driver must be reported , last week a pregnant mother with 3 children suffered a horrible accident the mother died and 2 children are in intensive care!! Wish our system was pretty much like I. America, one photo, a abig fine to the dangerous driver !! 😮😮😮
Something similar happened here in the UK with a mother in her twenties or 30s and the guy who did it causing a 100mph crash in a 30mph speed limit area or something got only 6 years
12:45 "If something like that happens on test the examiner isn't expecting you to deal with it". I'm sorry but I disagree, it's about situational awareness. You can't just crash because somebody else was being an idiot.
People need to have a bit more empathy for other road users, especially learners. We all started in the same place. Good luck with your test ❤

Why would you even start honking like that when you see its a car with a Learner sign on it?
Also, isn't actually an offense to use the honk just because you are annoyed at a learner taking it a little too slow or hesitating? I thought honking was for warning others about some hazard coming, is there a law about this, anyone know?
So jealous of all the parking 3:18
Pretty good drive indeed
I passed my test yesterday 🎉
Why on earth are the roads in England so narrow??
#TeamSaima 💪🏾
I passed last month 🎉
Your videos really helped😊
Well done. 🥰👏🏽👏🏽
@@ClearviewDriving it was my 11th but never gave up
@@bettyboo4971 that’s alright, it’s better to make mistakes while you’re learning rather than on your own. Well done 👏🏽👏🏽😊
14:10 surely she shouldn't have been marked. she wasn't merging the other cars were.
Love video
For someone who already took a test and felt ready to do so, she shouldn’t be this hesitant and unready, as well as I don’t think the footwear is the best for Driving, but I guess that’s a personal choice
I can vouch for the number of impatient, arrogant drivers in this area. I'd love to know when this was filmed, because in my experience there's invariably a long queue to cross the canal bridge at the end of the drive!
Is the seat belt OK that close to her neck? It just seems like it'd hurt her in a crash?
I totally understand that junction would of scared me as well, as even pulling out when people are miles away on the main road can cause them to turn into the Hulk 😂 basically 99% of road users think about them selves 😂 I pulled out from a side road when the car was stationary and it horned me, but if I hadn't gone I'd of been there all day 😭
P s that over take was so dumb how do these tools get a license 🙀 haha 😆
Plonker in the Renault overtaking on the wrong side, towards oncoming traffic! 😮
In Spain, if something like that hapens in our test it’s our fault for not reacting correctly 😆
God bless Saima hopefully she'll one day pass will no minor
I finally passed today with 2 minors on my fifth attempt. These videos helped so much, thank you!
Noticed in many of these videos that UK drivers are very impatient with learner drivers. A lot of honking.....
I like to know is she passed ❤ because I’m on the same path 😢raking so long
People like that nutcase driver must be reported , last week a pregnant mother with 3 children suffered a horrible accident the mother died and 2 children are in intensive care!! Wish our system was pretty much like I. America, one photo, a abig fine to the dangerous driver !! 😮😮😮
Something similar happened here in the UK with a mother in her twenties or 30s and the guy who did it causing a 100mph crash in a 30mph speed limit area or something got only 6 years
@@Stallzyx it is appalling!
One thing I need to ask why she driving with sandals I thought that's illegal.
This video was way too short, weve been waiting for Saima for a while and it was over before it began :(
9:39 clean car colour is meh tho
Porsche is a porsche i guess 🤣🤣
12:45 "If something like that happens on test the examiner isn't expecting you to deal with it".
I'm sorry but I disagree, it's about situational awareness. You can't just crash because somebody else was being an idiot.
Does anybody know if we can book a test even thought we failed do we still have to wait 28 days orrrr ?
Please if someone knows
Is this actually how driving is scored in the uk?
All of us Americans would definitely fail I think 😬😬😬
