    I had my driving test a few days ago and I am happy to say that I Passed in my FIRST ATTEMPT with only one minor fault. 😍
    Pin,
    I must say, your videos really helped me achieve this. 🤝 I came from India 6 months ago and I had no idea about driving in the UK. I have subscribed for ULTIMATE DRIVING COURSE and I watched all of your mock driving test videos. It really helped me to understand how to drive safely and legally in the UK.
    Thank you very much.. 🤝👍🏻

      @@thor8419 Hi,
      I can say a few things from my experience. I would like to split the tips in two ways.
      PREPARATION.
      1. Build up your confidence. Practice driving and maneuvers until you feel you are confident.
      2. Practice the possibile test routes as many times as possible. It will make you familiar the roads, junctions, roundabouts, speed limits, pedestrian crossing etc..
      You could be more confident in familiar test routes. (I got one of the test routes I practiced)
      3. Watch mock driving test videos. It helps you you understand potential Driving and Serious Faults. If you are aware, you are less likely to do it.
      4. Practice your 6 checks and frequent mirror checks until it becomes a habit.
      ON DRIVING TEST DAY
      1. Trust yourself. Be confident. You practiced well. You are ready. Otherwise your instructor wouldn't have said so. If you weren't you wouldn't be at the test centre.
      2. Try to calm your nerves. If you are nervous, you could lose concentration and lead to mistakes.
      Drive as normally as you can. Try to think you are giving a ride to the person sitting beside you. Or he/she is just another instructor. It will help you to become calm.
      3. Do not think too much of the result. Just concentrate on your driving. Look at the road ahead and mirrors. Look for hazards. Plan ahead. Drive as safely and legally as possible.
      That's it.
      Hope this will be helpful to someone.

    At the beginning with the pedestrians on the refuge, I thought the highway code had changed so you had to let them cross. I think there is massive confusion over the new rules and makes it more dangerous for everyone because nobody actually understands wtf they are supposed to do

    • @biddiemutter3481
      @biddiemutter3481 Год назад +4

      I think it's junctions with side roads where pedestrians are crossing as if the pavement continued

    • @hanlouisex
      @hanlouisex Год назад +5

      You only give way to a pedestrian waiting to cross if they are waiting to cross at a junction you are turning at. So say you are coming to a junction and you want to turn left, if there are pedestrians waiting there you let them cross before you turn. So for a crossing island this rule doesn’t apply, it’s more dangerous to stop for them in that instance. 😁

    • @hanlouisex
      @hanlouisex Год назад +5

      However, since I’ve been driving the last 2 years I’ve never seen anyone stop for pedestrians before they turn, so I think only new drivers will be doing that don’t worry about it too much. As a pedestrian I wouldn’t expect a car to stop either, it takes an extra few seconds to wait, quite a stupid new rule to be honest.

    • @legion162
      @legion162 Год назад +3

      @@hanlouisex I think that's where the confusion lies, new drivers and older passed drivers, some let pedestrians cross, some don't, it's like a lucky dip. As a pedestrian I step backwards away from the kerb, hopefully indicating that I'm not going to try cross in front of the car, as a driver I'm aware that pedestrians are unpredictable and just as likely to step out in front of you as wait for the road to be clear.

    • @biddiemutter3481
      @biddiemutter3481 Год назад +1

      @@hanlouisex, basically any road user from HGV to pedestrians need to use common sense. The rules may have changed but the results of a collision haven’t!

I have seen people with 30+ years more nervous, and dangerous due to nerves than Epty and his extremely limited time behind the wheel, and think he has been learning large goods vehicles, HGV positioning as well, as extremely patient, even though the truck driver made it extremely hard to have any sort of prediction on what was going to haappen next.

    Can you please reduce the commentary a bit and give Captions instead . every 2 seconds the video pauses and breaks continuity .

      It's a teaching video, not for smooth watching... I know that can be irritating but that's why

      @@biddiemutter3481 yeah understood but still some of the minor things can be in the form of captions instead.

      I add the commentary to explain the minor faults to new viewers. I also try add chapters with a bit of detail so you can skip the driving faults if that helps.

      I forgot to mention one thing, you have a choice to take an hour before the test I really recommend it. This helps to get you used to the car

      @Ire_wa_mi_ri don't stress too much about it, just think of it as your last driving lesson :)
