      Easily the 49ers. Tyrion Davis price and Sam Womack probably won’t make the 53 man roster, Drake Jackson has had less and less involvement on the defense and is buried on the depth chart with little chance of getting resigned, and Spencer Burford is the only player that has started at any point, but he is getting replaced by Dominick Puni and was replaced last year by John Feleciano.

You think DK doesn’t change that. If Brady thought it was still possible to win championships in New England, he would’ve stayed. He knew it wasn’t possible so he left. Honestly this draft class summarizes Kevin Colbert’s terrible final years as the Steeler’s GM. He found 1 great player in George Pickens, but he wasted a 1st round pick on Kenny Pickett, wasted a 3rd round pick on Demarvin Leal, used a 4th round pick on Calvin Austin and use late picks on Mark Robinson and Conner Heyward who are depth players. Sure Demarvin Leal and Calvin Austin still have the chance to have great careers in Pittsburgh on the DL and in the WR room, but 2 years later and only 1 of those players in that draft class looks great

      Pickett was done dirty a little bit at the end though. Sucked under Canada, as would anyone when you can telegraph every play call. Had a really good game in the first game after Canada was fired, and looked good. Then got hurt, was benched for Rudolph - who has never been good - and was never given another chance. I am not saying Pickett is an upgrade over what the Stealers have now, but damn he the end of his time in Pittsburgh does not reflect well on the coaching staff there.

    It could be argued that the Miami Dolphins had the worst 2022 NFL Draft. They only had 4 picks (a 3rd, a 4th, and 2 7ths), none of them are starters (in fact all of the picks have barely seen the field), and the best player from this class was an undrafted free agent (CB Kader Kohou).
    Miami 2022 Draft Picks:
    1. Round 3, Pick (102)
    - ILB Channing Tindall (Georgia)
    * Backup ILB
    2. Round 4, Pick (125)
    - WR Erik Ezukanma (Texas Tech)
    * Backup WR
    3. Round 7, Pick (224)
    - OLB Cameron Goode (California)
    * Waived on 8/30/22, signed to PS, waived on 8/29/23, & promoted to the active roster on 9/30/23 - Backup OLB
    4. Round 7, Pick (247)
    - QB Skylar Thompson (Kansas State)
    * Backup QB

      Was about to say the same thing. I guess Tyreek Hill makes it successful, but draft picks alone it’s pretty bad. Ezukama is legit the only guy you can argue has a path to seeing meaningful reps outside of special teams.

    • @masatoshik870
      @masatoshik870 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@WCUPUNK1 The Hill trade is probably the sole redeeming factor of this draft for Miami. Unfortunately, Ezukanma might be on the outside looking in this season with a very crowded WR room. Hill, Waddle, & OBJ are the locked in top 3 WRs right now. If Miami only keeps 6 on the active roster, then that leaves Braxton Berrios (starting kick & punt returner), River Cracraft, Erik Ezukanma, Malik Washington (2024 6th round pick), Tahj Washington (2024 7th round pick), Mathew Sexton, Anthony Schwartz, Braylon Sanders, & Je’Quan Burton (2024 UDFA) all fighting for 3 spots.

    for the colts, Pierce has shown flashes. He was open a lot deep last season, but Minshew wasn't able to hit him deep. Jelani Woods is as athletic freak at tight end. He showed flashes his rookie season too, but was injured the entire season. Both pierce and Jelani should take steps forward this season with a healthy AR. Nick Cross might've been a whiff though. He is a talented guy, but very raw. He needs to gain experience. He could pan out, but more of a whiff than a win right now.

      Can’t be paying attention saying that. Both have completely flip these organizations since being signed. Every team and GM ever have missed on picks before don’t make them a “joke”

      @@334ben10 Fr Poles has been doing things right it just hasn't gotten the results. He got Fields weapons and a better line for 2023 and Fields was mid so he moved on to a cheaper younger and hopefully better guy.
      Kwesi had a horrible 2022 class but he has been consistent at bringing in cheap quality free agents and his 2023 draft was solid and he showed a willingness to make big moves in 2024(we will see how the picks pan out)

      @@ariejohnson1944 I agree for the most part with the bears but that oline for the bears wasn’t it. Now the Vikes that 2022 class wasn’t the best but also wasn’t terrible imo. Ty Chandler can be and should be RB1, Ingram both yrs started terrible and ended pretty good idk what to say overall about him😂, Muse is already one of the better blocking TEs, Nailor when he gets PT been decent, Cine/Booth/Evan/Asamoah all been inconsistent but I do think injuries are a big part of it. It’s a mid class to me
      But it’s just a completely different feel around these teams. Bears aren’t expected to be bad anymore Vikings are expected to be mid anymore, that alone is a HUGE upgrade over the past regimes

      @@334ben10 I agree that the bears line in 2023 wasn't good but it certainly was better than the trash they had the year before, also you gotta factor in how Justin is very bad at avoiding sacks and holds the ball for too long.
      As for the Vikings I think that Ingram will take the next step but I think Chandl will work better as kind of the Tony pollard to Aaron Jones' Zeke than just being a pure bell cow. Aside from them 2 the class is a disaster, I think Nailor has the talent to be a long term WR 3 but he has to stay healthy befor I have faith and the rest of the class has either also been hurt or just trash.

    Bryce Young wasn't "set up to fail" - dude is the worst QB in the league. Period. Stroud went to an equally bad team and won because he's a very good QB.
