Panthers as a whole will stink as long as ownership tries to emulate Dan Snyder. Bryce Young will probably improve but i dont know if he will ever be Elite or even very good
Given how most QBs who have spoken publicly about Bryce have said “Yeah, the dude will be just fine, the team around him and coaching staff what hot garbage” im inclined to say that there should be some significant improvement, but only time will tell
I'm expecting something like a 75% completion percentage, 3500 yards, 27 TD, 9 INT, and the roster goes 7-10 because of the defense. Although you do have to factor in the run game. But I think the weapons, improved OL, enhanced run game, and unified vision in coaching will show the sophomore bump akin to Trevor Lawrence.
Yeah kinda crazy to say that was a disappointment. I think he had a really great year. The falcons were a disappointment not Bijan. Him and Gibbs have the highest upside. Gibbs stats won't blow you away but given he splits touches with Montgomery, it's impressive what he was able to do as well. I think he was 2nd or 3rd in yards per touch last season. I look for Gibbs and Bijan to both be in the top 4 most valuable runningbacks in the league next season and it will probably be that way for the foreseeable future.
@@terry7907 There was a ton of love for him until about week 3 for most folks. I still find it funny how a lot of the big talking heads consider Bryce a bust when he was a unanimous top 2 pick last year. Most had him at #1
Been saying before he was drafted that I think Addison is gonna have a career similar to Brandin Cooks, not just bc of playstyle tho. Really good, maybe even borderline top 10 but not quite elite WR but probably a perennial 1k yard receiver but not gonna have a bunch of individual accolades bc of being overlooked for just not in the first tier of WR’s. This especially being the case of Jefferson ends up staying long term.
playing behind Jefferson is gonna help him get 1k yards every year if he wants it. He did score 10 touchdowns and almost got 1000 yards last year with inconsistent qb play
Kirk Cousins presence will open up lanes for Bijan Robinson. No more 7 or 8 man boxes. His touchdown total will go up probably around 13+. Bryce young will have to show improvement with better weapons around him. A.Thielen,D.Johnson,X.Leggette are an upgrade from 2023 cast.
I think the Panthers did enough this offseason to give Bryce a legitimate chance this year and there is precedent to 1st overall QBs having much better second years after a regime change like Goff and Lawrence. Worst case scenario if Bryce really does suck we can start over in 2025.
Yeah it’s definitely valid that last season probably did some damage but now that Thieland is a 3rd option behind Legette & Johnson, and for the potential for guys like Mingo to find their own lane, fixing the O-line, getting a stud RB AND not having Reich running your offense, Bryce definitely won’t have any excuses if the offense flops like last year
Whether he sucks or not, who are you expecting to finish lower than them? They're better than last year's _Panthers_ but who are they better than this year? So let's stop conflating on-field talent, wins & play-calling with the QB being good or bad & Be Patient. Not everything's been fixed or will be fixed This Season. Well Zac Robinson was QB Coach when Kyren Williams was broke out as a dominant RB on the Rams. So Robinson might have some familiarity with scheming up great plays for Bijan
Dalton Kincaid is about to EXPLODE this year. People have been over reacting to the Bills trading Diggs. Their WR room is arguably the best it's ever been. Addition by subtraction
Gee, I don't know if I agree about the Panther's QB, but nothing this guy says is ever unreasonable in my opinion. You always make your case well, buddy, regardless. Dalton Kincaid is for sure going to tear it up this year.
I think Addison has a more well-rounded game than Cooks to be honest. He has more potential in my eyes, and I think he'll have a successful number 2 style wide receiver career.
Given how much Canales wants to run the ball, I expect Young to have around 3200 yds passing, 450 rushing, 23 TD and 7 INT. I also think Brooks and Hubbard will both be around 1000 rushing yards
I have zero faith in Bryce. I never liked him as a 5'10 sub 200 pound prospect to begin with nevermind being on the dumpster fire which is the panthers
I have more faith in Bryce than a lot of people, and I think the situation around Bryce is Miles better this year than last year. However, I would hesitate to give that much of a leap forward for both the running and for Bryce's production. I do think that Bryce improves and that he is going to prove a lot of people wrong, but I think 23 TDs to only 7 INT will be more like 18 TDs to 10 INTs. I think next year if this year goes well will be the real break out year for Bryce. Mark my words.
Bryce had no line, bozeman was hurt, ikey was bad as well, WRs could not get separation, mingo many times stopped running during his route. We signed 2 big guards and have Corbett at center, new weapons, a blocking rb for screen passes and is very vision open and elusive, a pass catching TE, a new deep threat WR and a faster big body WR, Bryce has it much better now. No excuses
Physical damage is probably more important for RBs than just age. I don’t see his year 1 as wasted. It’s actually nice that he took a low workload 3:34
Bryce young probably takes a huge leap forward next year at the very least. He’s shown he can make the throws and make things happen. As long as the OL holds up. He should be good
I think Bryce Young will be fine. I just find it damn near ironic that the very same people who claim/claimed that Justin Fields just needs more help around him in his third and now fourth season are so quick to write off Bryce Young after a rookie season in a nightmare situation that was leaps and bounds worse off than anything Justin Fields had to tolerate. Bryce Young is going to be another Tua who also had alot of early hiccups in his pro career.
the panthers made so many great moves this offseason. i really hope it's not already too far gone for bryce, because he could've been great. really hope he bounces back and shows his worth this year.

He’ll be fine. He doesn’t need to light the league on fire and lead Carolina to the Super Bowl in Year 2, Lord knows that ain’t happening. As long as gets better under pressure and throws more TDs than picks,
Hes not as explosive as Kyler Murray and just like Kyler, he's too short to throw over the middle of the field. He's a bridge player at this point, unless he really gains confidence in his legs. I wouldn't even want Kyler as my QB.
Ill catch hate for it, but Bryce Young was always just Alabama's version of Stetson Bennett (in terms of skill and style, not story), he will be perennially average. Never great, never bad.
