Just completed your video after the first 400 rounds through my SFT. I’m sure I’ll be back until I’ve got this down by memory. Liked, subbed, and thank you!!
Hey it was very informative Guess what I disassemble it but was unable to assemble I just saw ur video and I am genius in that 😆😆♥️ Thank you so much for this video
Thanks for the review - I notice on the Caniks that there is very minimal metal-to-metal contact between slide and frame -- your video was excellent in showing the two, very small metal rails on the frame that the slide contacts. Time stamp at about 2:52. Caniks also have, what looks to me, like more plastic to metal contact between slide and frame. Compare that to say, the Sig 356's which employ substantial metal rails on the frame where the slide rides on. Curious what you and others think about this. Thx!
Agreed. Canik makes some great guns. Thanks for watching, please subscribe and check out my channel. Also visit my shop here: boomsticktacticalgear.com/
I bought a pack of irrigation syringes with the curved tip, a can of Lucas Red n-Tacky grease. Added a tablespoon of grease to the syringe and use that to lube the slide. Just a snail trail is all that is needed, and couple drops of gun oil for the FCM as you did. The grease doesn't run or drip when the gun gets hot, and it lasts for ages or until the next cleaning.
I've used grease on mine before also. Works well most of the time. Under long shooting trips at dirty ranges it seems to collect more contamination. It does work well if you're doing regular shoot.
@@BoomStickTactical I've not cleaned my Sig P320C yet. I've only shot 20 rounds in my training last week. How often should it be cleaned? I'm only a few weeks in to owning and trying to educate myself everyday. ✌️
That depends on how much you shoot it. I keep mine clean and will at least spray some CLP in the barrel after shooting just a few mags. Guns are expensive so take care of them.
Nice job on the video. Like yourself, this too quickly became my favorite. Even though it's incredibly similar to both my PPQ 9mm, the older one about 12 years old and the newer one. The canik trigger is absolutely amazing. Now I do lubricate where you said not to but I finish wish denatured alcohol to remove any oil. Anyways, thanks for the vid
great video super helpful do you think you could make a video showing how to disassemble the trigger and firing pin assembly i can’t find videos about the caniks anywhere
@@BoomStickTactical i just downloaded rumble your the first person i followed i’d love to see and entire disassembly of the canik mete sft in the future if your able
My Canik Mete sft didn't come with an awesome trigger. I replaced it with a freedom Smith trigger. I felt the trigger had way to much travel and the break wasn't crisp.
I think you are erroneously referring to the extractor as the ejector while cleaning the slide. The ejector is the fixed piece on the frame, which, as you pointed out previously, is the reason that you can't remove the slide without lifting it off since there is no slot for ejector clearance. Great video!
very pertinent information. Thanks for the instructional video, that was awesome. one question, where can i get a level 2 or 3 for a Canik mete SFT 9mm

Canik essentially produces polymer frame and I personelly don't like. But it's a good alternative in market to polyfuns. My choice is always forged (frame, slide and barrel triple forged TFmodels) pistols like Turkish clones of 1911A1 and my military service pistol Browning Hipower.
I like them all. Now my thing is the Magnum Research BFR in ,.454 Casull and can fire .45LC. Big Bore Wheel Gun. White Micarta Grip feels great in my hand.
Here's the thing, I was a 1911 or nothing kinda guy but after shooting a canik I was sold. The price isn't the reason I like them, they shoot super well, the trigger is better than my old stock 1911, it comes standard with modern features and it feels good in the hand. Polymer has proven itself, that doesn't really bother me, canik does make a steel frame but the polymers honestly weigh less so for carry I'd definitely take polymer. They seem reliable (other than the MC9 and rival s which I've heard one or two stories about)
Thank you! First time gun owner, very helpful
Thanks for watching. Get some training

Glad to have you here.
Great video I love my canik and you are right about that tigger one of the best tiggers for the money
I hope to add more to my collection
They are great triggers full stop. The rival s trigger feels better than a cz shadow 2 and Beretta 92x

You are correct. And the same is found on a lot of modern guns. The Sig FCG is the same for the 320 and 365
Thank you! That second notch deal was holding me up on the reassemble. 👍

@@BoomStickTactical That's why I tell people to use a snail trail. Less is more and it's easy to make it messy
Woo-hoo I love learning!
