I used this ORS protein treatment before and it definitely reduced how much hair I lost. It really strengthened my hair and it’s a nice mild treatment for undamaged natural hair. I also have high porosity hair. I had tried the the Africa’s best protein treatment but I can not handle the smell. So I’ll give the ORS another try. Thanks for sharing the content on high porosity hair, you’re one of the few channels I found that’s about high porosity hair!!
Hey Kimi! I’m so glad to hear that the ORS protein treatment worked well for you! 😁 High porosity hair can definitely be a challenge, but finding the right products makes a huge difference. Thanks for your support and for letting me know my content has been helpful! ❤️
Hey Myrna! I used this protein treatment last week too for the month of September lol 😄😄 It really is one of the best medium strength protein treatments for fortifying the hair. I also find that it's moisturizing.
@@trafficcontrol2420 Yes, I agree. With proper care on a regular basis, you can definitely have healthy high porosity hair with very mild damage. The reason I’d say my hair is mild to moderately damaged is because I manipulate it weekly (e.g prepooing, washing, deep conditioning, styling) and refresh mid week. I also do slick back hairstyles at least once a week. I guess it would more so be mechanical damage from handling my hair on a weekly basis which is inevitable.
This is all you needed. I actually use ORS’s Replenishing Conditioner (the one that smells like oranges) as a protein treatment. It acts like a medium protein on my hair and can leave it kinda hard if I’m not careful.
Yes, it’s perfect! ❤️ I haven’t used the ORS Replenishing Conditioner in years, and I never thought of using it as a protein treatment. I’m so glad it works for you that way. Thanks for the suggestion!
@@trafficcontrol2420 Aww, that makes me so happy to hear! 🥰 I pre-recorded a good number of videos this past summer, so we’re good for the month of September! I’ll be working on October’s uploads soon.❤️❤️
Hey Evelyn! How are you? I'm so glad to hear that you reintroduced the ORS hair mayo back into your regimen this year and are seeing positive results. It's the perfect product. Thank you for watching & commenting. 🥰
PSA: Hair Mayonnaise is a lipid treatment that also contains some protein, not a protein treatment. Lipid treatments are great for restoring elasticity (when it can still be restored. The point of no return, is exactly that.).
Yesss Maxine. 🔥🔥 An OG & staple product for sure. I didn't know African Pride had a Rosemary & Sage collection. Is it fairly new or am I just late? lol
@@AfroKhadisiac I'm not sure how long it's been out but most of the review videos I found are a from a few months ago. It has hydrolyzed rice protein and my hair does well with hair masks that also have protein, since the focus is also deep moisture with a mask. Hope it's a good balance. 🤞🏿

I used that protein treatment last week. It's one of my all-time favorites.❤❤

I wouldn't say your hair is damaged. All damaged hair is high porosity but not all high porosity hair is damaged.

I love this mask ! I feel like people don’t talk about it enough, it is so good ! I have high porosity hair too and it does wonders to my hair.
Yess! It’s one of those go-to products. I’m so glad the quality of the product hasn’t changed diminished after all these years.
@@AfroKhadisiacis it ok to use it weekly ?
@@AfroKhadisiacexactly that’s why it is a staple of mine ☺️

i absolutely love this protein treatment and i have high porosity hair as well. it's just enough without over doing it and damaging my hair.
Exactlyyyyy! It has just the right amount of protein to keep your hair strong all month long and you can’t beat the price!
So glad you're back. I used to really enjoy watching your vids on Sunday and now I get to do that again so thank you 😊.

AK, Haven't used that one in long time. Blast from the past 👍🏽
Hey Annette! It's still just as great all these years later-a real blast from the past ☺️

Thank you for sharing this info Denysha!
The OG hair mask. Held me down during HS. I'm going to pick up the African Pride Rosemary Sage mask soon and try that out only because it's cheaper. 💜
