At the beginning when Tommy said you could disassemble it, I figured for sure it would be the tray at the bottom that would keep the legs open. I would definitely build a version like that
I was about to troll this project saying that you could get one of these at Ikea for $50 instead of dropping $300 on maple but then he made the Wednesday shirt joke and I realize I should shut my talking hole and let Tommy be Tommy. 😂
@@miltoncallan1471 The tragedy was Norm Abrams rupturing his ear drum while scratching it with the key of a 1976 Buick. Every ear specialist will tell you never to put anything larger than your elbow inside your ear. He suffered with vertigo for several months and has significant hearing loss. We set up a go fund me page for him. Check the description for details. All of us here at the TOH production team are sending him our prayers.
I love all of the Build It projects that they do on the show, but what good are they if they have no place to get actual plans? The other thing that drives me crazy is Tommy is saying this would be great for a college student or something but then he pulls out a $1,200 festool Domino. Using his overpriced festool miter saw is one thing because you can still cut with a cheap miter saw, but stop using the Domino for small projects like this. Use it on your This Old House projects, NOT this Ask toh jobs!
OOOOO! A hanging plant rack....just add tray to bottom and more plants.... very simple design! Love it! Leave Tom alone Kevin! I love blue. ☺
love watching these two work together
Great video. Would love a version that you could collapse without any tools almost like a drying rack.

Love how you think, Tom; and love your wardrobe selection! ;-))
He's just reading off a script and his wardrobe is picked out by our staff
Brian Glade likes Kevin’s boner. He can’t even spell it right. Why? Because he’s a low life troll!
Thanks Tom Slivia kool easy DIY project but for myself need to make shoe rack with drawers put socks in & tie holder self.
Very nice project. Perfect for it's intended audience.
Yeah, a college student.. but first you need a $1,200 festool Domino machine to make this 🙄
This is a nice project!! I have a quick question. If you place the legs one into another, why is it the long side of the shelf measure the same?
If you add additional shelves, you'd have a great stand for holding seed starting trays.
Stylish Tommy!
Great tips usable for many project to come! 👍
I love Kevin!
Saw one made with pvc and had wheels, if only used inside no pvc glue needed except for wheels, if used outside like yard sale then pvc glue needed
If you find an outfit that works for you, stick with it.
Friday shirt is best shirt

I have no idea why that dumb joke (the halfway shirt) made me laugh so hard. My wife thinks I lost it.
@@brianglade848 What tragedy?

@@rd-ch1on This happened in 1970? And Norm used a key from a 1976 Buick?
@@miltoncallan1471 The 1970 incident was a 1968 Chevy Chevelle key. Separate incidents both with unfortunate outcomes.
There's very long saw mark in that table.

Let Steve know the safety glasses work better when they're covering his eyes when drilling. I'm just saying what Norm always said.
Funny
Great idea til the gradumuate loses the wrench, then he has to call Tommy up crying , what do I do ? Then Tom will say I could have had a v8 .
Could’ve had a V8 - F-150 quad cab, but you’ll be straight.
