I got my friend into ark about a week after it came out on console, his first Dino was a carno that he named "I-POOP" because the first thing it did after waking up was poop. That thing lasted until server 230 closed. It was a legacy server that didn't have enough ppl for wildcard to keep open. That was the only Dino in my tribe that we kept after they did that big dino nerf
Me with the Dino Storage Mod (As soon as I get crystals and a better tame I store ones I don't need and never touch them again): Complete and utter devotion indeed
I love the omega mod so much. During my first playthrough of it i did wonder what the mod creator was smoking coming up with some of these dino's, but it was the kind of chaos i love.
Use s+ gun tool, select 'hide' and shoot at one of the cables. It will hide all of them. Works with pipes as well. The pipe intake can be placed anywhere to get water as well. Loved this playtrough! Cant wait for ASA to be fixed to play some crazy mods there
As a long-time omega player, you missed a lot of the mechanics. The idea was to have a high hp absorbant creature as a tank to take the hits for everything else, then have the potion dino feed it HP and stamina potions to keep it alive and keep the guardian bubble up. The thing is, it soaks the damage for everything that gets hit. You would have been way better off with just the trilo, potion dimorph, and tek stego. And the tek stego really, really did not have enough HP to survive that. Having a bunch of other creatures out just made the stego take way more damage. You didn't seem to know about armor sets really (olympian set plus having a hades torch out heals everything nearby). Paragon levels go up to 100, not 25. There's unique saddles which make creatures a lot more damaging/more survivable. There's a calculator tab in the omegadex which would have told you how much HP and damage output any boss has. In short.....good job overall! It was a great video, very entertaining and you did suceed. You'd have had a much easier time with it if you had spent a bit more time looking through the omegadex (f1 guide). Like.....finding out that spirit does up to 10x the damage when you use stalker first (it's variable).TBH, the ethereal god is considered one of the weaker group gods. There's a lot more to the rabbit hole that is omega.
Hahaha thanks for the comment! There is definitely a lot I messed up on, and missed out on, that’s for sure! Thanks for the information regarding the absorbent and the Olympia set. As for the boss HP and damage I was struggling to understand that aspect. I asked people in the discord and I think because I changed my settings I was having a harder time with the bosses! Either that, or my creatures were under levelled! I do hope to play this mod again in the future so hopefully I’ll be able to get further into it!
Word of advice for those playing this for crops get a farming phomia put it on wander after so it will automatically put fertilizer into crop plots so you dont need to worry about fertilizing crops
Doesn’t need to be on wander on Asa tho right? Also I’ve got this setup to my void vacuum so it sends my crops the phiomia sent over, to my compactor which when compressed doesn’t spoil so the whole farm is automatic, so convenient

Hey man. Love the video. Would like to ask youd consoder putting the day counter bottom left next time so we can see the awsome teleporter thingy please. Also trilobite if you go into stealth then attack the damage is boosted sooooooooo much more.
Yes similar in some aspects but very different in other aspects! I think this mod has more mechanics which makes your play style vary from person to person
I'm surprised, I'm halfway through the video and he still isnt using any of the omega storage. omega has structures specifically for most of the things he is having problems with. Like a single compactor would solve almost all of his storage and refrigeration needs.

Facts such a massive and chaotic mod
