Thank you so much for this video - My husband and I are planning our 10 year anniversary vacation, and we are considering Sandals. My concern is, I enjoy a more relaxing atmosphere versus a party atmosphere - are there any sandals or secrets resorts that are less "Party"? Or are all the same pretty much?
what you see as 'friendliness' at secrets, I would consider soliciting for tips... this alone made my decision on picking sandals, that being said, thank you for the video, very informative!
I’ve been to 2 Sandals and 3 Secrets, if you want more then Sandals but if you want fun Secrets is better i prefer fun and Secrets Maroma Beach was all that.
U guys missed one topic- drinks 😂 If serious- “Secrets Akumal” was amazing. Our last trip was to Sandals Grand St.Lucia - loved the scenery, but it was our most expensive trip and for 5k/5nights we didn’t get slippers in the room.
Haha, we could go on about the drinks at both spots! Ugh, no slippers is a deal breaker, especially for that price. But the Sandals Grand St Lucia looks amazing!
Just celebrated our 10th anniversary at Sandals Grand St. Lucian! It was beautiful but I would have to agree. For the price paid I missed certain luxuries that should have been standard

Sorry, but you lost all credibility when you said Sandals basically has 3 types of rooms. There are like 15-18 room choices at Sandals Negril alone, which I was hoping this video would help us make a decision on. Totally unhelpful there. We’ve stayed a several Sandals and Secrets. Secrets is more modern with generally bigger rooms. Depending on when the Sandals resort was built, you could get a very tiny, dated room for a much bigger expense. At least Secrets has made deciding on the room type less complicated. Sandals has made that so complicated at a lot of their resorts.
Sorry to have lost credibility with you Karen. But you lost it with us when you couldn’t tell us whether it was 15, 16, 17, or 18 different types of rooms…

6 nights at Sandals St. Lucia La Toc and air fare for just under $5,000.00. And it was glorious.

I’m at sandals royal Curacao right now as I type and the food is not good at all. Would ever stay at a sandals again? Not a chance!
Which Sandals had the better beach, Montego bay or royal Caribbean?
I would say Montego Bay, they have a long stretch of a nice beach. Royal Caribbean does have a private island though
