We won our group purely on luck, we underperformed and seemingly had no shape or plan tactically. As much as I don’t like him, Southgate has turned it around and shown he’s not completely useless but while he’s made great subs that have worked they’re still too late and that’s where he’s getting lucky, he’s gambling that they’ll make the difference in 5-10 mins

It doesn't really work though. You can't have a bank holidays at a day notice, hell, even less then a days notice. Is not even 12 hours notice from end of the game to the start of the work day. Even if they say right now "If England win its a bank holdiay" its not helpful because we still won't know until 10PM on Sunday. Even if they said its a bank holiday regardless, its too bloody late.
Sure, maybe its fine for office workers. But whilst we normally don't work on Bank Holidays, we would have to work on this one. I can't just not take bookings for Monday because "well, we might win". And I can't just cancel all the booking we have for Monday with less then 12 hours notice if we do win.

Spain have beaten Croatia, Italy, Germany & France Whereas England where seconds away from going out against Slovakia & needed a miracle, beat Switzerland on penalties & needed a dubious penalty decision against Holland who finished 3rd in their group & lost to Austria, this final is going to be something like Euro 2012 where Spain beat Italy 4-0 however I'm going for a 3-1 Spain win. Its only England fans who think they will win & fair enough if you reach the final however you do it you have to believe but its going to take a miracle & loads more luck to overcome Spain. This is where England's luck will run out, England will give it a go and might make it a more closer game but I can't see anything other than a Spanish victory which will be fully deserved.

V Day isn't a bank holiday, so why should this be? I want England to win and it's a MASSIVE achievement for English football, but why on Earth should it be a bank holiday? It would be a travesty if England win this tournament. Spain has outperformed EVERY team in this tournament, with six wins in six games with sublime performances, they DESERVE to win this tournament.
