- This is my video tutorial for the Weekender Bag by Cozy Nest Designs. This is such a unique bag to make using Seat Belt Webbing for the bag exterior. Cozy Nest Designs sell the Seat Belt kits for their patterns should you find it hard to buy the webbing separately. The bag I made in this tutorial was made with a kit kindly gifted to me from Sarah the designer. You can select the colours to make your customised kit.

Hi Diane. I think I have watched every bag making tutorial you've made, they are some of the best around and so informative. I see from your videos that you have a Janome HD9. Do you recommend these machines? I am saving up to buy one but would love your opinion if you don't mind as it's an awful lot of money to spend, so any opinion you have is greatly appreciated.. I miss seeing your videos, I hope all is well. Lee :)
Ah thanks so much for your lovely comment. Firstly, I sure do recommend it. I have had Bertha (yes I name my machines lol) for 4 years. She doesn’t do zig zag or fancy stitches so I have my brother computerised machine for size my videos, thank you so much I am glad they helped, that was my only reason for making them. I have been rather poorly sadly and while I won’t get better, I am really trying to get back to sewing and my tutorials. Hoping to post one soon. Happy sewing my lovely xxx
