Oh, I like this intro! Great job! I've driven through Chappel Hill many times, and you best believe I stop at the store for some food! Weekends, especially Sundays are not good to visit a lot of the really small towns. lol. I found that out going to Goliad one day on a whim.
You and me both, because I'm from Houston where most people shop and travel on the weekends, so my logic would be that's when shops would want to be opened. Here's the kicker, since making these videos I found that shops in small towns are rarely even open on weekdays as well!
Ranell there is an old cemetery and buried there are the two children of William Barrett Travis that fought at the Alamo. Found that out back in the late 70's. Yes most small towns do not have the hours of operation that cities have.
Beautiful and one of the most desirable places to relocate to by native Texans and others. Therefore, real estate is VERY high. It long ago caught the eye of those that are financially well off. If you come to buy be ready to pay top dollar.
Every time I see "Birthplace of Texas," and it's not Nacadoches, Texas, I shake my head because Natchitoches, Louisiana, my hometown, is the birthplace of Louisiana, not New Orleans. The story of two Caddo Indian brothers is how they came to exist.
Small Town Business' hours: Open every Blood Moon on the 3rd Tuesday of evey year that ends in a even number.
These videos are cool. I drive through these towns and never stop.
Samn, I'm learning a lot by making these videos.
It’s an awesome place to go during bluebonnet season

I appreciate that, but yeah. I guess small town folks don't work weekends. 😂
It amazes me that you expected stores in a small town to be open on Sunday.

Every town in Austin county claims they are the birthplace of Texas 😂
LOL like burger shops claiming the to sell the World's Best Burgers. I don't know who to believe. 😂
