  • Some examples of math problems involving Half Lives and Radioactive Decay.
    2 known mistakes
    1) At time 3:00 initially show the problem as 500uCi and then by time 3:26 I update the problem to show 600uCi. The math is correct for a starting value of 600uCi.
    2) At time 9:29 where I put 2mCi into the equation and should have entered 1mCi. n=5 is correct when you use 1mCi. Guess I should update this video !

    Oops there is another mistake at time 3:00 in where I initially show the problem as 500uCi and then by time 3:26 I update the problem to show 600uCi. Sorry about the confusion.

    I had a sneaking suspicion that Connecticut Pelletierium had extraterrestrial origins. Thanks for the informative video!
