- It's my bday ADX!! This was a special trip for me because not only was it my birthday fishing trip, but I got to spend it with a few local fishing legends! Bill Herzog was spending the day with us tossing what he's known for, SPOONS! We also got to meet a couple other legends on the water, but you need to watch to find out who. I'm doing one of my favorite salmon fishing recipes over the fire, and it's one that I'm just learning, but damn is it tasty!! You wouldn't like fish the grand river in grand rapids michigan because we use snap swivel with a canon ball with a leader of 3 feet with egg hook with a slip not and a Chuck of skein then you throw it at the dam and let it set the fish yank the rod out of you hand they like to swallow the eggs choho and king salmon steelhead and sometimes big lake run browns in the 90's we use to get lots of Lakers also but fishing has been less and less every year

From the Great Northwest public Duck Blind yes Jordan October is one of the best months of the year for it is the start of a lot of hunting at our winter fish come back into the the rivers and streams the leaves change that magical color the morning dew is upon the grass and the as that fog lingers across the water yes October is the best so happy birthday and have a great day doing what you love in The Great Outdoors God bless from the Great Northwest as I enjoyed my B.D earlier this month
