  • “Whiskey Lullaby,” the Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss duet featured on Paisley’s third studio album, “Mud on the Tires,” became a certified hit, peaking at #3 on the “Billboard” Hot 100 and winning the 2005 Country Music Association Song of the Year Award.
Penned by Country Music Hall of Fame member Bill Anderson and singer-songwriter Jon Randall, the musical lament addresses themes of alcoholism and suicide. Always have thought this song perfectly described what alcohol can do to relationships in people's lives when it gets to being an alcoholics level.

.. a beautiful song! .. definitely alcohol is a consciousness altering drug as strong as any psychedelic. And more dangerous and harmful than any psychedelic.
