I've played the CXC rig with triple screens and in VR/Project Cars. Damn near life-changing experience. CXC Simulations is LEGIT.
pure couse you used VR, screens are not that good. you need to look in the game by VR then all is real.
Yes those tilting cockpit can simulate a bit of the G force. But none could diminish or compensate the opposite G force produced while it started to tilt.

the only way to get FULL immersion with this is to strap on a VR headset. I can't even wrap my head around how cool that would be
In my experience of playing the odd simulator, the ones where the screen is separate from the motion platform are nowhere nearly as immersive. Works better when they move together in my opinion.
In a flight sim, the hard part is keeping the ground level, so fixed monitors do have a slight advantage

Man in my experience you dumb these screens and put a quest 2 ur done! u are completely in the car there and driving the car, and not playing about driving a car. With VR you generally feeling you are in the car ... and even forgetting the fact you are playing this through the help from PC :D
DUH I have had 3 screens for over 15 years now...OLD SCHOOL... 2016 onwards is HTC VIVE....
This is what I need. I drive so much by feel and when switching over to a sim I always brake to short or to far or mess up the corners because there is not enough feedback. I end up having to the race the course over and over til I learn it by heart and drive technically. VR helps but still not the same thing.

What would be amazing is if Google maps created an ongoing USA where you can build your own cars and drive the streets of any town and race people online and run from the cops.

Why are most of them using the camera view behind the driver instead of directly through the screen, why would you want to see a steering wheel in front of your steering wheel?

Need easy bolt ons to cheap simulators like clips or waist band with straps and pulleys that pulls your core slightly left or right, more you turn the more it pulls so you get that feeling youre turning

I've tested most of the motion rigs and was comparing it to real race car. First of all those rigs tries to simulate acceleration and deacceleration. Acceleration by rotating to back and braking by rotating to front. Each of this movement is totally different than in normal race car. When You start accelerating in the car the seat is pushing on Your back in first moment then You get used to it. In those rigs, when You start accelerating first what You fell is that Your seat is not pushing on Your back but go away from Your back and after a while Your back is pushing the seat because of gravity. During braking similar situation but mirrored. This is totally different experience and I really prefer non motion rigs or rigs that is trying only to simulate different kind of road, bumps only without g-forces because those can not be simulated in the same way even if the gravity force is exactly the same the moments when those forces occurs are totally different.

Just ONE of them had the correct FOV set for a sim - and 4 had basically fish eye, cheeses these guys build motion platforms and cant set proper geometrically correct FOV...
I assume you're referring to the Red Bull one Which looked to be setup exactly as the driver would see it with proper perspective and everything. The one after was an awesome rig but the software was hopeless
The 'ideal' FOV really only works with large screens, on a single screen you can't even see the apex of the corner.
The seat needs to be in a more laydown position for a forum car. There needs to be less tilt and roll because that extreme of motion doesn't happen in a formula car. It also needs 4-6 point seatbelts. If you had someone blowing heat in the drivers face by burning stacks of $20.00 bills it would be very realistic.

I think it's stupid having a motion sim with fixed screens. Get VR in there or make the screens move too

VR would be the same like a fixed screen, as long as you do not mount the sensors on the motion rig as well

that`s all nice but i want a centrifuge .that would be better solution to simulate innertia.so the entire time of a say braking you should feel your body move forward,same thing when you are accelerating your body should be pressed to the back of a seat all the time according to the level of acceleration

In my opinion the first two and number 5 are the best concepts of real sim cause the monitors (the view) also goes with the seat movement. Its unrealistic that seat moves different to the view, so this construtions 3&4 are fail.

Can you use VR with all of these? and how is the VR integrated with the simulator...husband wants one of these and I know nothing about how all of this works ....is it hard to set up computer and software with these simulators...would definitely prefer VR seems like that would be more realistic

suspension simulating is nice, but what games have actually this motion simulated on a screen? I was just watching Forza Horizon and it looks like wheels are moving some up and down, but the car really not. I hope I'm wrong and there are some other games which do this much better.
For the cost of the CXC you could buy a fast car, take it to the track and spray a boat load of champagne at bystanders.

how much is the last one ? i know u can get the Next Level Racing Motion Platform V2 now in sweden for 3000 euros 700 euro for the chair to place and 500 euro for the wheels and pedals and then a vr set for 1000 euro and a pc that can run this about 2000 euros then a nice sound system with dolby atmos we have about 2000 euro more 1000 for the marantz reciever and 1000 for q aucustics speakers so basically for about 8000 euros.... how much does these cost?*

4 pra mim já é mais que suficiente !!... so não gosto de volante na tela do jogo se você está no simulador com volante do lado de fora não precisa de outro volante no jogo fica dois volante acho isso muito estranho seria melhor ter colocado a tela inteira ou só painel do carro pra dar mais realismo

cars aren't that violent, you need only 2 maybe 3 inches of movement to trick the body into thinking its moving, especially with the vive or any hmd.

It's an awesome tech, but I can't see myself playing a F1 game and the cockpit moving so much like that. It's overkill and ends up not being realistic.
Its physics bro, because the cockpit doesnt move forward like a real car, so making the cockpit tilt so much to the back and utilize gravity to give a backward force to your body similar to when you drive a real car.
