Need a studio series release of this design. I love it, but I aint made of money and like my transformers to transform.
I don’t care for transformations on most of my transformers I’m usually just buying it for the robot and thats it, Megatron is a good example of this for me I don’t really care if he transforms into his gun or stealth bomber or watever as long as his robot mode looks great I’m happy.
I need my TFs to transform as well.
Nothing more embarrassing than having a mate point to a centrepiece like this in a ‘Transformers’ collection, and say “So what does it transform into?”

Ravage kind of just "folds" as opposed to transforms lmao. This figure is amazing. I just wished the hands weren't so small

Love all of these DLX releases, pride of the collection. And absolutely awesome value for money in this field. Was taken aback a bit when comparing them to see how he is actually a heavy reshell of their Prime, sharing much of the skeleton and joints with him. Makes sense as the Soundwave movie model is a direct reuse of Optimus Prime.
I wonder who designed these characters, they are sublime.
While watching Bobby's review I was thinking that this Soundwave is even a bit terrifying, which is something I never thought would say about a G1 character
Bobby - given how good this is do you think that Flame Toys are overpriced for a similar (albeit smaller) product?
I own Flame Toys Tarn (which I love) but looking at how good these Three Zero releases are I’m not sure it’s good enough to reflect the price differential..

I own some FT and own some Threezero products (that aren't Transformers) and they are very, very, comparable TZ also does it with nearly HALF and sometimes 1/3 of the price 😬
I paid $400 for Dark Star Saber and $200 for Nemesis Prime, and Nemesis is by far a better purchase IMO

Licensed transforming figure, didn't see that coming. As a gimmick its very cool, though I think in this instance no transforming and more articulation would be better because of what it is. Looks great overall.
I thought this would just be a line that I really appreciated just looking at until they released that blitz-scream which I had to buy after checking out a friends copy in hand, then this Soundwave came along and like a reflex bought it on the spot when it was available and now I feel like I have to get prime and bumblebee. Just like a lot people that seemingly have to buy every optimus prime that comes out, I kind of have the same problem when it comes to any even mildly decent release of Soundwave. Imo this is kind of a must for any Soundwave collector. I keep this displayed in my office which is a testament to the design they came up with for the movie and one for the quality 3a delivered. Its not my home office so its highly unusual with the only transformer I've ever had in there being an mp bumblebee my gf gave me a long time ago left in its vehicle mode like its some VW bug paperweight. Also as much as I understand and respect people not liking transformers that don't transform, hearing them whine about it all the time when they're people that only really buy/collect the mass produced mainline figures is so tiring.
this fig shows off perfectly the only problem i had with the bot designs in the bumblebee movie of the g1 characters. they all seem very high waisted with really long legs its kind of a bummer that they went with that design they end up with no ab area and the waist just kinda connects to the chest and it looks like they are pulling there pants up to there chest. still looks ok but just kinda awkward to me on this and the prime

Haha, I kind of heard that too. I was thinking, Santa has nothing to do with the beach but if he's there handing out presents then sure, why not?! It still kind of works!
