If you mean Glad Dummy, you can't spare it because you don't get genocide ending. And if you mean Mad Dummy, you don't get Mad Dummy in genocide ending, only Glad Dummy.
@@fradopa Number 1: That was written a whole year ago and I have worked it out by now, and Number 2: I meant the training dummy that Toriel wants you to talk to, which obviously I know that Dummy whether you spare it or kill it doesn't matter, and I know Mad Dummy is unkillable but doesn't appear in Genocide now, and that Glad Dummy appears in genocide but you unfortunately have to insta-kill him too.

This video is really old, I dont speedrun Undertale as dedicated as I used to anymore :v for the Pacifist and Neutral runs, there was a glitch using the punch card (www.speedrun.com/undertale/guide/w0noz watch this if you don't know what that is) and it was too hard of a glitch for me to learn, so I never cared about it and only ran Genocide routes as they didnt involve the glitch :)

The slashing in the beginning of the game is probably due to the beginning fight slash I don’t understand or the Toy Knife which you get from a secluded room in the ruins. You get the Real Knife when you enter the “Grey” home before the Sans fight when you go into your room and open one of the two presents, one with the Real Knife in it. The other present, holding The Locket.
