So I made a video because I ran out of ideas ^^"

And please no "Using bases are for NOOBS, bla bla bla" I don't want to hear it, it's MY video and I do what I WANT
I don't own anything but my characters
Program Used: Windows 7 Paint and FireAlpaca
Recording Program: Hypercam 3
Device Used: Bamboo Wacom Intros3 tablet (New tablet)

A few tips to help you on ms paint:
• if you do a sketch, once you've gone over it select the eye dropper. Left click the colour you want to remove then move it and right click (still on the eye dropper) to pick the colour you want it to be. Then go onto the eraser and hold right click as you drag it over the colour you want changing. Voila!
• I've noticed how when you move things they have the block of it. If you click on the arrow but under 'select' then click 'transparent selection' when you pick up something, whatever colour that's in the second colour box will be left behind. (E.g White is your second colour, if on transparent selection the while won't be picked up)

A tip for when your shading, use a dark version of what you're shading as black is like an intense shadow or sometimes make the artwork look dull or over detailed
How about your OCs in different styles? Like the 20 styles challenge

Its nice to see a a person thats uses bases puts a lot if time to it and even says that she did use bases
ummm mabey your squad but in mlp version or mane six as the squad :3 i dont know just some ideas
Some helpful tips: It is okay to use bases but just don't always use bases. I used bases a whole bunch when I first started out and now I can draw without them. So slowly try drawing stuff yourself. Also with shading don't us black, use a color like orange-ish red or maybe even purple. Also just keep up the good work! You are really good and don't let any rude comments get to you. I hope you find this helpful!

I like watching people who know what they are doing around bases, unlike me. I can't use Paint like this XD
I suggest using a technique that helps you grow your art without having to use bases. You can maybe start tracing bases on normal paper, and look at what you traced, get the basic shapes down, memorize eye-shape or other things, and then if you practice enough times you may find that you won't have to use bases for your art. Idk, this worked for me, not sure if it's for everyone, but hey, give it a try!

Please dont use black fro shading, try a purple or dark blue and set it to multiply with low opacity!

You could try a different species challenge? That or maybe a different style challenge, like using bases that artists have made in their styles.
You could make themed ponies using simple objects, eg. a toaster, candy or a rubber duck!!

Hey, I’ve been watching a couple of your videos for a while and you are really good at using a mouse! I can’t do anything with it, but as a tip, instead of using black to shade, you can use a light color such as pink and switch the blending mode to multiply, it won’t make the colors muddy and dull and it has a better effect! Just a suggestion, but I hope you keep it in mind :D keep on doing your art, really, I love it :3

Hello. I am also a user of MS paint. While watching this, I've noticed some techniques that I never knew about. For example, when you layered the Rarity base on top of the hair and it didn't cover up the hair. Also, on the video where you made the EG bases out of MLP screenshots, you somehow were able to remove every one of the sketch lines without deleting the main lines. How is this possible? Would you be so kind as to explain?
