Great list, great games on here. Joraku is on my must buy, as budget allows.

Great list! Happy to see Vale of Eternity and Joraku have stayed at the top. Joraku ist such a Masterpiece, everytime we play it everyone gets so excited in advance and then it is this huge great arc, where everyone is totally focussed and engaged till the end. Keeps everyone on their toes. Love Caper, Marabunta, Match of the Century and Patterns too. Haven’t played the rest.

You have a lot of interesting games on your list that I never even heard of.

Great idea to do a "new to me" games list.

Joraku feels like a little bit of El Grande mixed with a little bit of Brian Boru.

This is truly an original and refreshing list. What I appreciate most about your channel is that, even when I may disagree with your evaluations, I can always see the authenticity behind them. Your opinions are genuine, your descriptions sincere, and your perspectives uniquely your own-completely unaffected by hype or trends. You don’t follow the crowd; you play the games you genuinely enjoy.
I’ve had Juraku in my collection for years without ever feeling the urge to try it. Thanks to your thoughtful review, I now have a great reason to bring it to the table. Thank you for the wonderful company your videos provide-they’re a joy to watch!

Carson city has great aesthetics and ideas, but the bidding to actually score for what you worked for in the board really screws the loser and the feel of the game.
The disrupting robbers (expansion) are also not compatible with a 4 round game.

Botanicus my GOTY for 2024. Chairman, I highly recommend checking it out. One caveat, if playing 2p, roll a die for the dummy player. It eliminates any take-that. Cheers. Btw, have you tried Star Tycoon? Another good one.
