This was really great thanks! I’d enjoy more pcb design, and kicad videos such as these

Are you able to explain the Zone priority order? Largest to smallest or smallest to largest?

The priority setting means which copper pour should give up some of its size to comply with the set clearance value.

If two copper pours touch. The pad with the lowest priority number will give up some of its size to meet the set clearance value.

I am making a 4 layer board and need multiple voltage zones on the power plane (inner #3) When I put in a via from a trace on the top layer it does not seem to connect to the zone on the third layer with the same name. Also I cannot make the PCB show me a filled in inner layer. It looks like they are treated differently.
For me a ground plane is an inner layer that is ground. But all You-Tube videos only deal with ground planes on the outer layers. Not the inner layers.

They are treated almost the same way, and they can stop showing up for 2 reasons:
      1. Equal or lower priority as the guns plane (if it's equal it will show but meshed with the gnd plane and will trigger the drc)
      2. They aren't connected to a pin of that net. Eg. A net ACCEL1 is connecting 2 pins, if I route via a plane but I don't connect it to one of the pins, it wont show up, if I connect it with a track and a via to a pin with the ACCEL1 net, the entire plane will show up

Is 1:10 sped up, or do you have a trick to draw these so quickly?

It's speed up, I'm still not that fast 😅

      @@JBPerformanceTV Darn, I was hoping there was a trick I didn't know about :)

misleading title... PLANE is on internal layers ... please learn english before teaching wisdom to the world
