One of my favorite little details in this map is during the edible mushroom foraging event. When you pick a blue mushroom and start hallucinating, the commander is quite dismayed; "Need to stop... getting into... these situations..." - a nice callback to another cave full of hallucinogenic mushrooms from the Mists in Jahai Bluffs .
They raised the bar with this map and I really really hope they keep this kind of quality up going into the future. Absolutely stunning, the vibe, the details, the way it slopes down and opens up when you start exploring is breathtaking. I would also like to note that the NPC dialogues are interesting, ranging from funny and quirky to downright gut punching you in the feels.
the huge saw lololol I was in homestead exploring n a bit zoning out chatting with friends. I remembered seeing the saw, then in my head thinking "no way is that gonna hurt me ill prob just not be able to run through it" so I jumped on it and I think it knocked me back? or maybe I physically jumped from surprise because I was HURT and I started yelling to my friend "HOLY SHIT THIS THING ACTUALLY WORKS IM BLEEDING" 😂😂😂😂😂 I could not believe they actually made it work like holy crap lolololol
2:16 LONG LIVE THE BEES!!! (Sadly only those as old as I am, will get this reference) 6:35 If you let the saw put you in down state, you actually get a hidden achievement: Workplace Safety. 8:36 Actually the order of which bees to interact with does NOT change, however, their location does. The order will always be Beavis first, Combs second, Honey third. If you interact with the bees out of order you will trigger the Queen Bee group event which is pretty hard to do on your own.
My most favorite area in the Harvest Den is a room that were build for you to perform music, it has a few musical instruments like flute, drum, harp, lute, that you can borrow and play with it on a stage. I personally had a great time messing around with my friend on that stage! (It's located right in front of the area where you protect the cabbages from the warclaw cubs)
