Clock Tower is such a scary piece. A lot of the sprites and animations were unsettling to see at times.

Sorry about the 30fps footage. OBS crashed everytime I tried to record footage in 60fps at that time. it took some time to figure out why.
Do you have a wish for any genre, console, style of games etc. I should the price and review guide? 🤔 Keep in mind this are the scariest SNES Horror games by the standards of the 90s. 😉 My intent with the estimated price tag is to provide helpful information for retro gamers - not scalpers! Same goes with all the other information presented in this video. BTW I added more color and gamma (via retrotink5x) to the CRT mask/scanlines this time.
I’d also recommend Shin Megami Tensei 1 and 2. Both games, particularly the first one, have a lot of genuinely disturbing moments and enemy designs with really heavy and bleak atmospheres which is pretty crazy for a pair of SNES RPGs.

Clock Tower is an underrated Franchise, it pioneered the horror genre before RE standardized it. It has aged much better than Alone in the Dark.
Majyuo king of demons is being released in english as a physical collectors edition by Rondo products. Dont bother looking, its already sold out.
Hmm, your scores are based on how fun they are, not how scary they are. Nice list though, Clocktower has a rom patch that makes the SNES mouse compatible that makes it more playable. Well, it is playable without the mouse but more fun I guess I'm trying to say?

Demons Crest ALWAYS intrigued me as a kid. I have been looking for years, which game is it where if you lose or fail the objective you are at a beach side and the zombies eat the guy?? It's not Zombies at my neighbors. I can't find it!! Ugghh.
SHADOWRUN and JURASSIC PARK deserved a spot on this otherwise nice list

The game is called BlackTHORNE, not BlackTHRONE. Also to call that a horror game is a bit of a stretch.

Here's the price of the cartridge...also, you can play this in English with a patch that you can apply to the...uh...cartridge...
Yes, you can dump the cartridge to create the rom or just use any rom backup.

The prices have got to be for brand new factory sealed, there is no way in hell (no pun intended) thag doom cart only is $150 when it is one of the most common snes games!
@@jeffrielly What sucks is I had so many Nes and SNES games but once I got the PS1 then PS2 I gave them all away. Not worth that much but I had so many that I'm sure it would have Added up lol.
@@jeffrielly I also had that Clay fighter game. Not sure if it's the one worth alot but it was from Blockbuster and I thought I lost it but found it year's later. Gave that away also.
