I liked your review! I have had 3 Silhouttes, currently the 4. I researched both Cameo & Cricut. Made my decision mostly on design capibilities, also the fact that you don't have to be connected to internet to run one. I only do stuff for own use, so don"t know about large orders. No matter what machine you get there will be a learning curve, so I thought go with Silhoutte Cameo.
I really enjoyed your video. I have a cricut air 2 and just bought a cameo 4 just to take things up a notch. I’m kinda of nervous to work with design space because it’s way different from cricut software. Looking forward to new videos.
Hi Caylin I’m a fellow crafter from UK just starting out been crafting a year now and I like to do a vast array of things and started out making suncatchers/jewellery and have since moved onto resin and currently working with Jesmonite. Thank you for this tutorial Caylin found it really useful as I have been quite bemused with the different technology out there! I’ve been looking at the cricut as I am not looking at large projects at the moment and I think you have confirmed for me that the cruicut would be the way to go for my needs - can I just ask what I would need besides the machine as a starter kit so I can price up how much it is going to cost? ❤
You’re welcome Michelle! I would say you’ll need some essentials like vinyl, transfer tape, basic Cricut tool set (especially the weeding tool and scraper), HTV, a mini heat press or easy press and if you can get additional tools to use the machine to its full potential. 🤍🤍
