    I’m in Bruce’s big band ensemble over at Fullerton College, and decided to Google his name out of sheer curiosity. Had no idea he did Ted Talks lol

    I wish I was proficient enough on my instrument to be where these 2 are improvisationally. It is most definitely a conversation.

    I Jammed w/ Joe in Syracuse New York in the early 70's. he was so far out of my league it wasn't funny. Not surprised that he turned out to be the great teacher he so obviously is.

    this is actually wonderful. Can anybody recommend me some "free jazz" (that is, spontaneous and not established) but something that doesn't fall into the "free jazz" aesthetic? Thanks

      Most things Ornette Coleman, and some of Coltrane’s later works.
