Do you really believe what he says? I really like him but I don’t know if I can trust that because I think he’s been a little bit candy, coating, and dishonest about his relationship with Michelle and how it ended.

Great interview! I’ve liked Nayte from the beginning of the show. I became a fan when he and the others confronted Jamie in episode 3 about things he said. It was done in an up front manner without yelling or animosity. Plus he was never involved with any of the petty drama. I’m sorry he got so much heat over the breakup. Still a fan here! ❤
It’s refreshing to hear a guy with morals. Sounds like Nayte’s Mama raised him right. I thought he was a good guy from the show & every interview he has done since has reinforced that. He’s a good egg. 👏🏽

No judgment, but trying to understand. When Nayte said it was a weight lifted from him when he broke up with Michelle, but also he needed his mom to get him through. If you're relieved, why do you need your mom to get you through??
Here’s the thing, I don’t hate Nayte. He seems nice and everything and he has undeniably great fashion sense but he doesn’t have a unique perspective about anything. He relies on his looks to carry him. He doesn’t try hard at much, because he doesn’t need to. Listen to what he said about his basketball past; thats proof enough. I wouldn’t care to hear him host a podcast at all, unless he put some actual effort into it.

I always knew he as a cool guy. When the break was announced I defended the guy. I still love Michelle but she does give me that “fix me”/“fixer” type and most teachers are just naturally like that. She comes off a bit sneaky too BUT she also seems to be a great woman. They’re both two imperfect people that just weren’t right for each other.
I feel bad that he needs to always defend himself that he is not f-boy. Even on the viall files, he was defending himself. Wishing him peace and healing.
