I have a lot of holsters and 1 Safariland so far. This video helped a lot because I want to run a G17 and G19 with light in the same holster. I tried my G19X in my G34 holster and it fits but it’s snug on the sides because of the addition of the right side slide stop/release and has a little movement up and down like you demonstrated but that’s not the end of the world. I think I may just get a 17 sized ALS holster to run all of my Gen 5 stuff and keep the current one I have for my Gen 4 guns.
I open carry it the way it ships. It’s comfortable. Feels very very secure. I can get to it very easily and it doesn’t feel like anyone could come close to getting it unless they knew exactly what holster I have and had a death wish.
I have this holster and at the bottom of the holster there is a barrel plug for lack of a better term. When the gun goes into the holster it stops at the predetermined point where the barrel plug is. The g19 being shorter means the gun will travel farther into the holster before it stops therefor making it a little loose. I have a g45 and this exact same holster. However I have a threaded barrel and the threaded barrel makes the gun fit perfectly I. The holster. If I run my standard stock barrel It becomes loose as shown in the video. Hope this helps
My thumb release is inconsistent. It is not a sure thing. I don’t completely trust it for a carry holster. I like the retention and lock up. I despise the thumb release.
Only bad thing about Safariland is their turnaround times. LE contracts and the like really make it a dredge to get anything oddball, hell, usually anything popular, in a reasonable amount of time. Fantastic products and spectacular customer service, just reeeeeally slow.
Hey man, great review. Do you know if there is a Safariland ALS holster that can fit my Glock 19 with a TrustFire GM-21 light? I recently just returned a Safariland 7378 cuz it won’t fit my light... but really like the product for its smooth draw and locking...
How does the light bearing version retain the gun without a light? I have a 7378 non light-bearing version for my Glock 19 that I like but I found a good deal on the 6378 light bearing model and I would like to be able to use it until I can pick up a TLR-1.
What he said. There is a plug / post at the end of the holster which inserts into the barrel allowing the internal hood to lock into the ejection port. After a few tries drawing is very smooth and intuitive.

Find a qualified instructor and work to fix your hazardous pistol handling. You pull your guns out of the holster with finger on the trigger, that’s not a minor issue but dangerous.
No he doesn't. Slow down the playback speed and watch again. gun is pointed out downrange toward target before trigger finger moves to trigger. If you were drawing for a self-defense use, you wouldn't want to get the trigger any later than that.
Great review without all the cheesy openings and personality justifications. Very quality, thanks for making this.
Phenomenal breakdown of the holster systems offered by safariland. Thank you very much. I know what holster Setup I’m going with.
Good, clear, concise review. I'm considering getting this for my G21.
Excellent video! Thank you for the detailed explanation of the locking system and the close up camera angles.
Been using these for years! Fantastic holsters.
Just ordered one today! Thanks for the review! Real good video found out everything I needed can’t wait for the mail!!!

Man!, if I had this kids money, I'd throw all mine away. Great review though. Their website doesn't explain this very well, and this was very helpful.
This was a great review.
great review, I found one used for 18.99 on ebay lightly used for my mp 45c
Thank you for this informative video. It helped a lot.
Is this younger TRex Lucas ????
Very informative and detailed. Much appreciated.
I like the paddle. Very secure with the blue alpha belt I wear..more so than I thought
Nice Glock and nice holster! 💯💯💯 Thanks for the review.👏🤟

It’s only 31.00 on Amazon buying one for M&P 2.0 compact
Good review
This was the video I was looking for thanks bro

Isn't it more comfortable with the paddle resting on your hip ? I would think it would give it more support
Excellent review. Love Safariland Holsters.. Great quality!
This is a great review. You showed us that i can put a G19 to holster for G17. What about the opposite? Can i run a G17 in a 6378usn which is for G19?
Ok...I have to say it. Your review kicked some ass. Great job!
Oregon? Good for you brother , carry on ! Good job all around.

That was a nice Review, thank you 👍🏼 do you know, if the holster for light works also without light?
The standard model 6378 is light compatible which is awesome. Comes setup for no light, but takes about 3 minutes to do so.
Great demo I've always liked their holsters I have a Glock 17 Gen 3 with a duty light on it looking for a holster as we speak might go with it.
Hugely helpful. Thank you!
Great review I was wondering how did you attach that leg attachment on
Hi! How is possible that the G19 doesn't fit firmly like the G17?
Isn't there some sort of screw for the tension adjustment?
Thanks

Awesome picked one up from a local shop with a 25% black friday discount. How good is that! BTW. Fits 229 and deploys sweet. nuff said.
Great video. what kind of belt is that?
Will the fork attachment fit on the holster that comes with the paddle?
Will a x300u work? I’m trying to find a holster for my Glock 17 with a light but I can never find answers

woah just randomly stumbled across old school dirty civ who woulda thought
Lol...
Informative. Cool..thank you
Got a level 3 for my canik and love it but was looking at this for my fn 509 with a holographic sight
Will the ALS fit suppressor hight sights?

Go with 6362/65. Either way, I'd go with the aliengear duty holster, has a better feel.

Bowden Godfrey I would like to know as well
It all locks the same. The locking system attached to the ejection port its not dependent on the light like most kydex holsters would be.
What he said. There is a plug / post at the end of the holster which inserts into the barrel allowing the internal hood to lock into the ejection port. After a few tries drawing is very smooth and intuitive.
Would you think the g3 with x300 will fix trying to get one for my range belt
Will this universally fit a Surefire x300 Ultra and a TLR 1HL on a Glock 34?
If you take the barrel plug out of a 19 holster you can fit a 17 into it
What belt is that you’re running?
Will this fit my glock 19 with aplc light???
Need it for work security?????
ALS vs SLS? Lets hear thoughts
Good job young man👍🏼
Do you ha e a video on Accessory belts
Definitely getting one.
Great video!
Great info of this video
Is it compatible with a O-light style light because I only run O-lights, hope so
I have this and yes it fits my tlr-1 and my olight pl pro valkrye.
So u can put the qls system on this one
Nice video, keep going.
I want to run my x300 light with my red dot, does Safariland offer any OWB for conceal?
For OWB or paddle options running an RDS you would want a 6354DO, while not necessarily concealed carry rated it's a good option.
Awesome review!
Great review and presentation. Just bought the ALS 6378 for my Glock 19 with an O-light. Works great. BTW what mag pouch are you using in the video?
good vid!
Great review bro! Now go out and kick some Andy Tiffa's ass! Yeahhh!
Subbed n hit the bell thanks again
Hi, wanting to use it on a g19, even if the holster is longer it is possible?
Nice review
Well done
Thanks
Will it fit a TLR-7?
It should. It fits the TLR-7A.
@@Colefyre thank you!

Paddle over the belt loop attachment?
No, if you want that, 6365RDS
A level 1 retention holster with ALS ir more than enough for 99.99999% of people.
Judging by the video I assume a Glock 17 can fit in the 19 sized als
Dirty Civilian, lol. Great video!
* RIDE-RED*
Did this channel completely die in place of dirty civilian?
Lol I forgot I had this at all. Yea, DC is full time now.
Thats not "Just a $10 part." Thats a $17.00 part along with a $30 part
I paid $20 on amazon for the QLS plate and fork

Will this holster fit the Glock 45 (9mm)?
it should. The 45 is the same as the 19 on top and where it contacts.
Thanks
